We’re always curious to find out celebrity food suggestions, and even more curious to actually watch them cook. So when Angelina Jolie offered to do a bit of both in a clip for BBC, promoting her new film First They Killed My Father, we got excited—until we saw what, exactly, she was whipping up. 

Standing in Cambodia next to her kids, Angelina fried a scorpion like it was no big deal, and admitted to eating bugs—all different kinds—on more than one occasion. The star’s very lax attitude about it, along with her explanation of why they’re so great, might just convince you to give ’em a try.
