What wildcard full moons and the *stars* have in store for your sign.
After an eventful September, the weather (both cosmic and otherwise) starts the cool. The planets move in mysterious ways this October, aligning in lucky patterns and wildcard full moons that will definitely keep you on your toes. Mercury changes signs twice, just to keep the mood fresh, and Venus slides into free-spirited Sagittarius. Finally, the stars creep into spooky Scorpio, just in time for Halloween—lining up with psychic Neptune for a holiday night you won’t soon forget.
If you heard about NASA changing the zodiac signs, don’t worry! Your sign is still the same. Astrologers and astronomers have been using different zodiacs from each other for years to account for the differences caused by the “precession of the equinoxes” (that’s astrology speak for the teeny-tiny amount that the Earth’s axis moves every year, changing the perceived position of the zodiac), so it’s cool. Astronomers, like NASA, use the sidereal zodiac, based on the position of the stars in the sky. It includes lots of constellations including the mysterious “thirteenth sigh”. Most Western astrologers use the tropical zodiac, which uses the twelve signs you’re used to—and they don’t change. So you can rest easy knowing your stellar persona is still the same!
