6 Kids' Beauty Products We Still Love
Your twenties inhabit that space somewhere between the usual benchmarks that supposedly define real "adulthood" (emphasis on the quotation marks) like marriage, children and financial independence and, at the end of a bad day, just wanting your mom. And all despite that fact that it's been pretty well-established for a minute that even the most Girl Boss-y among us feel at times as if they don't have a single clue what they're doing. Anyway, with the '90s in its umpeenth-year of resurgence on the runways, the time to indulge in a quarter-life crisis is, well, now. And while we're at it, we might as well take things one step further and actually revert to indulging in all those childhood creature comforts—even if it's only through your beauty products.

Hear us out—if that moisturizer is gentle enough for an actual newborn, we think your finicky sensitive skin is likely in good hands. Ditto for the detangling products engineered to smooth out playground snarls: it can probably deal with your color-treated matting. That, and well, we'll never be over glitter polish or Mr. Bubbles.

Mr. Bubble
You know how they say that scent is the one of the five senses most closely tied to memory. Yeah, well a warm bath, filled with thick, frothy, Mr.Bubble-scented foam is one of those triggers: for a simpler time, in which our biggest concerns were having to share our granola bars and whether our parents would catch us reading late night under our blankets. Talk about a de-stressing bath time.
Weleda White Mallow Face Cream
There's nothing that saps any trace of life out of your skin like harsh winter winds, huh? Yeah, there's a White Mallow Face Cream for that. Even the most sensitive, whiny baby of complexions will suck this stuff up, formulated with sweet almond and sesame oils to hydrate and soothe as well as white mallow, a go-to ingredient in eczema creams. Toss a tube in your basket along with kale chips the next time you're at Whole Foods.
Tangle Teezer
As anyone with color-treated hair can attest, the tangle struggle, even as an adult, is especially real. Attempting to skip shampoos in the name of healthier hair is admirable and all, but there's nothing like waking up to a telltale head full of snarls that'll have you hitting the bottle (that would be shampoo and conditioner) everyday. Enter the Tangle Teezer. Yes, the spray will likely be splashed with some especially childish print, like cartoon flowers or zebra stripes. And yes, the way it detangles your hair is probably the result of voodoo magic. Just go with it.
Deborah Lippman Glitter Nail Lacquer
Okay, so this is decidedly a more grown-up polish brand. We don't care how much allowance you got—we're willing to wager that you weren't dropping it on $22 bottles of glitter nail polish. Now, though? Shades like Lippman's Mermaid's Dream and Candy Shop were made to be layered on fingers and toes and to be looked down at in regular intervals during your work day to remind you of playground days.
Hard Candy
Yes, their frosty blue shadow palettes were likely your first ever foray into cosmetics. These days, Hard Candy's still kind of killing the shadow game—available in a wide range of formulas, and highly-pigmented shades, whether you're after something neutral but eye-brightening for your inner corner or that same frosty blue if you're craving a Marilyn Minter moment that wouldn't look out of place in a Petra Collins editorial. Ditto their lip range, including the Balmination lip balm, which gives a sheer-but-buildable wash of color.
Jurlique Baby's Soothing Bubble Bath
Okay, so maybe having a bubblegum pink bottle of bath bubbles chillin' along your more grown-up bottles of Oribe and tubs of Serge Normant isn't the most sophisticated of bathroom arrangements. Enter Jurlique's bubble bath, formulated for toddlers, only with none of the typical animal mascots or cartoon lettering involved. Also, we're pretty sure its lavender scent is the equivalent of a Xanax.
