Harley Viera Newton's Daily De-brief: Misha Nonoo SS/15
If there's one thing the fashion crowd loves come NYFW, it's a spectacle.

Hyperlapse, normcore, oversized Spongebob sweatshirts... the parameters that define them may come and go, but if there's one thing the fashion crowd loves come NYFW, it's a spectacle. Do streakers sprinting down the runway, melting walls made entirely out of (real, edible) chocolate or holograms of A$AP Rocky making appearances on the runway (just to name a few from seasons past) sound familiar?

Let's just say we were hardly surprised when none other than Cov-alum Misha Nonoo (you know, she of the impeccably-offbeat home tchotchkes and the wedding ceremony that included a set by Lana Del Rey?) was the one who got things off to that Valencia-worthy, proverbial bang this fashion week. Allow us to demonstrate: cue a runway whirling with intricate prints as part of a collaboration with Brooklyn-based contemporary artist Dustin Yellin. Oh, and the artist himself just so happened to take a turn down the runway—iced latte in immaculately-manicured hand, bien sûr.

Step 3
Take large sections of the hair and tong them vertically, starting at the front, ensuring to only wrap the hair once.
