Last week, in addition to our usual schedule of shooting closets, discussing beauty products, and staying abreast of the news, we ducked out of the office a few times for a look at the latest bridal collections. What we saw ran the spectrum from categorically traditional to boldly modern, with designers employing wedding-requisite lace, tulle, and silk for dramatic ball gowns, tailored two-piece sets, and body-hugging sheaths. Among the highlights were a structured blazer dress from Danielle Frankel, pastels and floral appliques at Vera Wang, and feather trim courtesy of Sahroo’s debut collection. Lots of sequins and luxe embroidery—notably at Temperley—were in the mix, too. Ahead, 21 looks we’d gladly walk down the aisle in.
