If there’s one thing we learned from this past fashion month, it’s that the industry, to everyone’s surprise and delight, is embracing a more joyous, vibrant side than seasons past. Whether it was Marc Jacobs’ whimsical pastel gowns or Gucci’s feathered and bejeweled confections, there was an undeniable sense of fun. One of our favorite trends to emerge from the S/S ’19 runways was the dominance of the humble tie-dye, aka the print that continues to be synonymous with hippies, stoner culture, and DIY craft sessions. Everyone from Prada to Stella McCartney sent a tie-dyed look down the runway, which means that it’s bound to end up in our wardrobes sometime this fall. Check out our favorite tie-dye pieces below!
