Inside the New Restaurant at Brooklyn’s Most Instagrammable Hotel

It’s also crazy-delicious.

When we first visited the Williamsburg Hotel last year, we were immediately struck by the chic blue-tiled interiors and floor-to-ceiling windows (and promptly began Instagramming the divine soaking tubs), so when we heard that owners Toby Moskovits and Michael Lichtenstein were opening a restaurant, we knew we needed to see it for ourselves. Nestled in the lobby of the hotel, Harvey boasts 25-foot ceilings and gorgeous exposed brick walls, making it akin to a cozy retreat from the bustling Brooklyn streets outside. The elegance of the spiral staircase and open-air kitchen ensure that there is still plenty of #content to be had while you’re eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner here (and no, you don’t need to be a guest to grab a bite). There’s even a high tea service! To get the lowdown on everything from the design to the food, we spoke with Moskovits and Lichtenstein over the most amazing avocado toast we’ve ever had—essential if you’re based in Brooklyn. Check it out below.
