Why Glossier’s Latest Makeup Product Is About to Sell Out
Lidstar really will help you look like Beyoncé.

Unless you were the only person in the world not watching the Oscars last night on your phone, laptop, and TV all at once, you already know that Glossier just launched their most exciting makeup product yet: Lidstar, a soft shimmery eye color that appeared on some of Hollywood’s most glamorous actresses, like Greta Gerwig, Allison Janney, Tiffany Haddish, and Tarji P. Henson, to name a few. And of course, Beyoncé already rocked Lidstar in Fawn weeks ago at the Grammys, because *of course* she did.
The six shades come in a test-tube-like packaging (making them ideal for travel) with a doe foot applicator, and despite the creamy application, once it dries the pigment doesn’t budge—essential for preventing the telltale eyeshadow crease. Ultra-fine reflective pearls are the reason why Lily, Fawn, Cub, Moon, Herb, and Slip all have plenty of shine, but the color payoff is actually pretty exceptional and is best blended with your finger. Our favorite is definitely Lily, a pale lilac that is super on-trend for spring and looks amazing on everyone, especially those with brown or hazel eyes (the contrast makes your eyes stand out—pretty!). Since lavender makeup is going to be everywhere this spring, we recommend scooping up this shade (or all six, let’s be real) before they sell out.
