Festival season is upon us, and at Coveteur HQ, we couldn't be more ready. But let's be honest: Coachella is as much an endurance sport as it is a style moment. Between the relentless desert heat, the clouds of dust, and the sheer sprawling chaos of the festival grounds, your body and your look will be put to the test from the moment you step out.
Every seasoned festival-goer has their non-negotiables, and at the top of our list? Sunscreen. The Coachella Valley's UV index can soar as high as 8, which means you'll want a good SPF. New York City dermatologist Dr. Marisa Garshick puts it plainly: go broad-spectrum, SPF 30 or higher, and don't be shy with the application. "The key is applying enough to actually get the protection listed on the label—for the face, apply sunscreen covering the length of your index and middle finger."
Once that's handled, the rest is the fun part. To help you navigate the heat, the 3 a.m. bedtimes, and the questionable porta-potty situations, I'm sharing my Coachella packing list—plus, I asked some of the coolest girls I know (who also happen to be Coachella regulars) what they're bringing to the desert this year.

What's your Coachella packing philosophy?
This year, I'm approaching packing for Coachella much like I'm playing a game of Tetris. You've got an eight-hour day ahead of you, and everything in that (small) bag needs to have a very specific job. Every product, every piece, every emergency item has to have a purpose.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Invisible Gel SPF 40 Facial Sunscreen
On the topic of sunscreen, my Neutrogena sunscreen is easily the MVP of Coachella for me. It gives serious, reliable coverage that actually holds up through long days in the heat—plus, it doubles as a primer so my festival makeup looks flawless. It's powered by Helioplex Technology and vitamin E, which help my skin stay hydrated and glowy, even under the harsh desert sun. Oh, and it's completely fragrance-free, making it a go-to for all skin types—my sensitive skin included.

Shark ChillPill Personal Fan
This handheld fan is a godsend when the heat gets unbearable. It's small enough to carry around, and it gives me a quick breeze that keeps me cool and refreshed, even if I'm in the most crowded space.

ba&sh June Mini Suede Bag
If you know me, you know I live for a Kate Moss-y, Saint Laurent-ish moment at a festival—separates that can feel equally rocker-girlfriend and boho-fairy. This ba&sh bag fits right into that world. It's the kind of bag that looks effortlessly cool with everything, yet still big enough to hold all my festival essentials.

What's your Coachella packing philosophy?
The key to a great Coachella is working smarter, not harder. I dedicate one day to wearing the outfit I’ve been dreaming up for months in my head—and the rest of the weekend is all about comfort. The moment I step onto the festival grounds, my Loop earplugs go in, and my cleansing wipes and dry shampoo foam are always within reach. With all the essentials on deck, I'm ready for whatever the weekend throws my way.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes
First off, have you ever seen a cuter product? These have a permanent home in every purse I own, not just during festival season. The second the sun sets at Coachella, they’re the first thing I reach for. There’s nothing better than wiping away the dust (IYKYK), refreshing my skin, and taking off the day’s makeup. It honestly feels like a mini shower and is such a perfect on-the-go essential.

Mane Mini Fresh Fluff Dry Shampoo Foam
This is the easiest product to use, with actual results. Dry shampoos usually leave a white cast and make me look like I have a head of gray hair, but this foam does the opposite. It removes any trace of grease, helps my blowout last longer, and completely refreshes and revives my hair—because, let’s be real, it’s going to be necessary after being in a sweaty, shoulder-to-shoulder crowd waiting for JB.

Loop Earplugs
Maturing is realizing you need to wear earplugs to the festival. Coachella’s speaker volume is no joke, and having these as hearing protection not only gave me peace of mind, but every time I wear them, someone asks where they can buy a pair.

What's your Coachella packing philosophy?
Aside from the absolute essentials, like my DJ gear, I care about being cute at all hours of the day (and night!). It’s really hot out there, so I need to account for the weather— when you can’t layer, accessorizing is key.

Sp5der Rhinestone Web Sweatsuit
I’m a sweatsuit and tracksuit girl—they’re easy, and they’re cute. Lately, I’ve been living in this one at the airports.

Campbell & Kramer Psyche Top
I am currently obsessed with this top, and I have it in a few colors. It’s really cute, and more importantly, really versatile for styling, which is important when you’re traveling.

Away Carry-On Suitcase
I modeled in an Away campaign several years ago, and they gave me a suitcase. I’ve used it countless times, and it’s still as good as new! It rolls really smoothly, which is super important to me.

What's your Coachella packing philosophy?
My Coachella packing philosophy is overpacking. Bring TONS of accessories, not just for outfits, but for hair, makeup, etc. Coachella outfits are really all about throwing pieces together and making them all work. Of course, have the base of your outfit, but it’s what you add to it that makes it yours! Belts, bangles, necklaces, earrings, fake tats, glitter, fake flowers for your hair, everything!
Also, of course, pack sunscreen, vitamin C, and electrolytes! You want to last the weekend and watch your fave artists, so these will keep you gooood.

Belkin BoostCharge Pro Magnetic Power Bank 5K
My phone is constantly at 10 percent wherever I am, so having this Belkin BoostCharge Power Bank has saved me so many times because you need to take videos and pics there, duhhh…

Bombas Women's Everyday Compression Knee High Sock
The walking is endless. If you want to save your legs the next day and last, get compression socks. I promise you won't regret it.

Black Opium Eau de Parfum Glitter
You're going to be out the whole day, and I always want to smell good, of course. My favorite scent is YSL Black Opium, and this travel size makes it perfect for the festival.

What's your Coachella packing philosophy?
Pack outfits that work from day to night, whether that's adding a jacket, layering with a bikini, or with a belt. The moment you leave your house, who knows when you will be back?

Plein Sud Leather Jacket
Do not be fooled by the hot weather during the day. It gets cold at night, so you will not regret it. Even if it doesn’t get cold at the festival, it gets cold at the afterparties because they are most likely indoor-outdoor. Most of my jackets are vintage from the Real Real or Ending Soon. I’ve been wearing one from Plein Sud a ton recently.

UGG Women's Classic Ultra Mini Platform
By day three, you are on your last leg. I will never forget running into Emma Chamberlain wearing Uggs for my first Coachella because the shoes she brought made her feet hurt. I could not have been more jealous. Trust me, we have all been there, and you will never regret having a cozy alternative at the festival or at home.

Liquid IV
You will need to drink a lot of water during the day because it gets so hot. It doesn’t ever hurt to drink some pre- or post-hangover.

What's your Coachella packing philosophy?
Overpacking. You never know which vibe, weather, or spontaneous afterparty will demand a full outfit change, so I try to cram everything (and I mean everything) into my bag. I always keep three non-negotiable essentials with me that keep the festival chaos at bay. The vibe I go for is “chic and prepared”—think Mary Poppins meets Lauren Santo Domingo.

Canon PowerShot
I could never spend a weekend in fabulous outfits without the perfect camera to capture it all. This digital camera is my absolute favorite and best believe it will be put to use at every set and for every outfit change.

Chan Luu Embroidered Floral Bandana
There are few things I love more than a hair accessory. Bandanas have been a favorite of mine since last summer, and even more necessary to pack when the sun is beating down and the dust is flying at the festival grounds.

Source Naturals Wellness Formula
As someone who is always getting sick, these little tablets are a must for me during festival season. They’re a saving grace for my friends and I when our immune systems need a pick-me-up.
