This week by way of celebrity appearances, the location to focus in on was, naturally, Cannes. As countless actors, directors, models, and producers flock to the French Riviera, so too do their best looks as they prepare for a week of events and parties.
On the red carpet, Alexa Chung and Alex Consani opted for all black looks. Chung in Balenciaga and Consani in Schiaparelli. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky arrived for their Cannes red carpet debut looking the part, as usual, Rihanna wearing a vibrant blue draped Alaïa gown and Rocky in a classic black Miu Miu suit.
Elsewhere, Dakota Johnson appeared at a photo call in a simple black Gucci dress, while Barbara Palvin stepped out in a white strapless corset dress, and Vicky Krieps posed at the Love Me Tender photo call in a backless leather intrecciato Bottega Veneta top.
Over in London, Bella Hadid attended her Orabella Selfridges launch party, paying homage to Cannes in a silver John Galliano chainmail dress worn by Jovovich during the 1997 Cannes Film Festival.
