I'm writing this from Paris, where the temperature is no lower than 100-degrees Fahrenheit—we've officially moved from summer territory directly into hell. Nevertheless, the city is filled with color, and it's been fun to witness what everyone is wearing when the weather becomes unbearable. From what we're seeing on Instagram to the Spring/Summer 2026 runways and the looks from fashion people on the streets of Paris and New York, ahead we round up the key color trends of the season.

Tiffany Blue

Burberry SS26
Chanel SS26

It's no secret that the turquoise hue of Tiffany Blue has taken over social media in recent months hailing it as the color of summer, but before it was on Instagram, it was on the Spring/Summer 2026 runways in varying capacities. From a toothpaste tone at Chanel to more classic expressions of turquoise at Burberry, Prada, and more, the blue hue is certainly a color to incorporate this season.

Chartreuse

Balenciaga SS26
Saint Laurent SS26

Chartreuse is the acid yellow-green shade that we dubbed the color of Spring/Summer 2026 last September due to the sheer volume of the color that appeared on the runways of most prominent brands. At NYFW we saw it at Tibi; London was Simone Rocha, Erdem and Burberry; in Milan Ferragamo's Maximilian Davis worked it into lace trims and accessories, while in Paris it showed up everywhere from Balenciaga to Valentino and Saint Laurent.

Burnt Orange

Dior Resort 27
Saint Laurent SS26

A hot summer calls for hot colors, and what makes more sense than burnt orange? Throughout the runways of the season, it's appeared at Jonathan Anderson's Dior Cruise, Saint Laurent's Spring/Summer 2026 runway, in leather gloves at Prada, and button down shirts at Miu Miu.

Sky Blue

Dior SS26
Miu Miu SS26

In the blue theme of the summer, sky blue was also on plenty of runways for Spring/Summer 2026. At Dior, crisp cotton poplin shirts made an appearance, as did sky blue aprons at Miu Miu. At Tory Burch, light knitted polo shirts came down the runway in New York, and then again at Dior Cruise in the format of watery chiffon dresses.

Ballerina Pink

Chanel SS26
Stella McCartney SS26

Ballerina pink was also a fixture of the Spring/Summer 2026 season, and continues to be a color du jour in the warmer months, offering a sweet girlishness to the looks, which we saw examples of at Chanel cruise in Biarritz, Stella McCartney For Spring/Summer 2026 in Paris.
