Keeping Tabs: Shuang Bright, Content Creator

In Keeping Tabs, the world's most stylish people share their search history and current open tabs—what they're searching, saving, reading, and buying for your reading (and shopping) pleasure.

Shuang Bright makes the kind of content you double-tap without thinking—then save for later because the styling and the storytelling all just hit. An LA–based creative director and content creator, Bright blends fashion, beauty, and culture into visuals that feel like a moodboard come to life. Her work is playful without being precious, often pulling from the things she loves most: Studio Ghibli, chaotic dogs, and a very specific kind of girlhood nostalgia. With a background in editorial and brand strategy, she moves seamlessly between behind-the-scenes directing and on-camera charm, building out lush, lived-in storytelling, whether she's documenting the history of the bandage dress or sharing a recipe for curry udon. If there’s one through line in her creative universe, it’s that nothing is too serious—and everything looks better in soft light and statement shoes.

Ahead, Bright gives Coveteur a peek into her browser history: what she's saving, shopping, watching and reading.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer: "I honestly haven’t read a book that I’ve loved like this since 'A Certain Hunger.' If you are a little freak who loves olfactory descriptions, this is the book for you. I also recently learned that it was also Alexander McQueen’s favorite book."

Wong Kar Wai — Can AI Yearn?: "Wong Kar Wai is such a legend in cinema, and I loved reading about In the Mood for Love’s origins and his opinions on AI."

The Hour of the Star by Clarice Lispector: "This is my first Lispector novella. If you’re looking to get back into reading, I’d recommend checking it out! It’s told entirely through a stream of consciousness. I did enjoy it despite it being pretty melancholic."

Fueguia 1833 Fueguier: "I love anything with fig in it. Debaser is one of my favorite fig fragrances by D.S. + Durga, but after smelling this one in Mexico, I can’t stop thinking about her. Fueguia 1833 only uses natural ingredients, which is somewhat unusual for a major perfume house."

Climax Books T-shirt: "I am a sucker for good merch. If you love a museum gift shop, Climax books is that times 100. They have two locations: one in New York and one in London!"

PDRN essence: "I’m drinking the Korean kool-aid. I was just in Seoul in October and PDRN is all the rage right now. I was too chicken to get the actual salmon skin injections, but allegedly you can get some of the same benefits albeit at a lower efficacy… through topical serums. Salmon sperm… who would have thought!"

What Are You Saving?

Erik Charlotte: "I absolutely love her work and have been following her designs on social media. The silhouettes that she plays with really tickle my eyes in all the right ways."

Wretched Flowers: "I’ve been trying to decorate my apartment for a year now and have been loving this idea of soft brutalism. I honestly love anything to do with chainmail and this Connecticut based couple makes gorgeous furniture that incorporate those gothic elements with a softness I really admire."

NY Chair 1 by Malcolm Ransome: "Even though I live in Los Angeles now, I lived in NYC for about 12 years, so when I saw this chair I screamed."

Shawna Wu shoes: "I have dreams about these double butterfly handknotted shoes. I love everything that Shawna Wu does and really appreciate the way she incorporates her traditional Chinese techniques into her designs."

Spider Lilies: "I recently watched this Taiwanese lesbian movie, came recommended to me by a friend. I’m always looking for more lesbian media. The set design is really cool, so I’ve been saving this for home inspo."

David Lynch auction: "I am absolutely not going to be able to afford a single thing but am curious to see what everything is going to sell for! "
