16 RED GIFTS YOU’LL WANT TO KEEP FOR YOURSELF

When the giving (and getting) is gooood. IN COLLABORATION WITH GAP.

Together with Popsugar, Coveteur created a gift guide that reflects all the highest points of your holidays. Equal parts inspirational and attainable, merry and bright, there’s sure to be something for everyone on your list. (Yes, even that one.)

We’re not typically the type to fixate on the matchy-matchy, especially when it comes to the holidays. Things all too often can cross over into Griswold territory, and fast. A monochromatic color palette? If there’s one hue that we can really take our love of and run with it this holiday, it’s undoubtedly red. Scarlet. Cherry. Crimson. Ruby. Call it whatever you like, but this warm, inviting, passionate color single-handedly encompasses everything we love about this time of year—doesn’t hurt that it makes for a mighty good ’gram, either.

Did you really think you would get through this holiday season without a red sweater? We like Gap’s cable-knit and printed numbers to snuggle in while wrapping (or opening) gifts. And speaking of gifts… first up: this awesome Yayoi Kusama skateboard, courtesy of MoMa, for your Supreme—or modern art—obsessed younger cousins. Say thank you for a year of hearing out your meltdowns and triumphs with this adorable trio of sparkly Jennifer Behr hair pins, or a buttery-soft Yuzefi bag, either of which will make your BFF promptly squeal upon opening. Pat McGrath limited-edition Blitztrance lipsticks come in the most incredible packaging and are perfect for your YouTube tutorial loving niece. Finally, for your boss: one of Boy Smells’ cool red candles, or Anya Hindmarch’s unconventional diffuser sets.

Our recipe for a fun holiday night in? Take one part striped pajama set (complete with matching eye mask, naturally) from Gap and add one bottle of Moet’s buzzy collaboration with Virgil Abloh. Pour into Ban.do’s clever Wake Up Call mugs (a great stocking stuffer or fail-safe office friend gift). Mix in a set of Polaroid’s red-bordered film (so festive!) to document everything that goes down. Set the mood with your favorite holiday tunes (so, Mariah on repeat, then?) on one of the bright and poppy speakers from Sonos’ new collaboration with Danish design house Hay.
Finally, a few beauty gifts to sprinkle in an added layer of indulgence: a set of gorgeously wrapped Acqua di Parma soaps, or a limited-edition red bottle of CHANEL’s classic No.5 fragrance.

Finally: the Netflix special. Check everything you’ve been meaning to stream off your list with a few solid hours of dedicated lounging in a pair of the coziest checkered flannel pj’s we’ve ever felt, courtesy of Gap. With a tin of old-school gingerbread treats tucked under one arm and the cutest Gund dino toy under the other to squeeze when things get dicey on screen, you’re ready. Alternatively, get a crash course in contemporary art leafing through this Basquiat tome—then take Poketo’s hilarious Pocket Art Director for a spin as you pick out furniture and things for your dream apartment. Your mom, meanwhile, will be lazing across the couch caressing your new upgrade to her bag game—think a slightly cooler but still ladylike and polished pick, like this one from BOYY.
