On Thursday evening in Milan, tucked away on a private street adjacent to the new Milan store, MM6 Maison Margiela held its Spring/Summer 2026 show. Models in distressed leather bombers, capes, suiting with forward-shoulder tailoring, and short (but not too short!) hemlines paired with sheer stocking-socks were standout trends among the 53 men’s and women’s looks presented down the painted white path.
MM6, launched in 1997 as an accessible alternative to the French luxury parent Maison Margiela, is rooted in the concept of heightened normality, which, interpreted plainly, means everyday, livable clothes you can still feel cool wearing. A long-standing hero product is the brand's inexplicably comfortable chunky-soled heels.
Friend of the house, designer Sami Miró, attended Milan fashion week to unveil her new capsule collection with Max & Co. While running her wildly popular namesake line Sami Miró Vintage from afar, the multi-hyphenate Los Angeles-based creative also carved time to sit front row at the MM6 show and invited Coveteur to tag along.
