I Tried Rhode's New Glazing Mist—Here's My Honest Review
In my quest for a Hailey Bieber-esque glow.

The fun thing about having dry skin is that by the time the clock strikes 3 p.m., my skin is in crisis mode. The dewy foundation I applied in the morning starts to cake, the tight feeling kicks in, and I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror wondering where on earth my glow went. So when Rhode launched its new Glazing Mist, promising instant radiance and hydration without disrupting your makeup, I was all in. If it’s good enough for Hailey Bieber’s signature glazed donut skin, it’s good enough for reviving my skin's midday slump. Below, find my full review on the new formula and whether or not I think it's worth the money.
My Skin: Forever Dry
I’ve always struggled with dry skin, and it shows especially when I wear makeup. No matter how much hydration I pack into my routine, by midday my foundation starts to cling to dry patches and cake up around my nose and chin. Finding ways to keep my skin looking smooth and glowy throughout the day without messing up my makeup has been a constant battle. I'm already a facial mist user, but most of them either leave me sticky or disrupt my makeup completely, which is exactly why Rhode’s Glazing Mist caught my attention.
The Product: Rhode Glazing Mist
@rhode
As any Rhode fan knows, the brand basically built its reputation around that signature Bieber glow—a dewy, luminous, just-moisturized finish that has become the skincare goal for a generation. I'm already a fan of the Peptide Glazing Fluid and Glazing Milk—both products do a great job of giving my skin a nice dew, so I figured I didn’t need another step. But the Glazing Mist isn’t just another hydrating spray—it’s the finishing piece in the glaze trifecta. Unlike the original Glazing Peptide Fluid, which is a serum step, or the Glazing Milk, which is more of an essence-meets-barrier-treatment, the mist is designed for anytime, anywhere. It serves as your instant glow reset with no sink or no 10-step routine required. One spritz is meant to deliver a cloud of hydration that revives your skin without disturbing your makeup. Formula-wise, it’s loaded with skin barrier-loving ingredients like ectoin to bind water to the skin, a ceramide trio to support and protect, and beta-glucan and panthenol to soothe and calm.
My Review & Results
Michelle Rostamian
To really see if Rhode’s Glazing Mist lived up to the hype, I didn’t just use it once and call it a day. I first tested it on bare skin, first thing in the morning before my serum and moisturizer. It gave me a hydrated, plumped base without feeling heavy, and layered beautifully under my Peptide Glazing Fluid and subsequent skincare products.
Next, I tried it after an intense workout when my skin was blotchy and overheated. The mist felt cooling and refreshing, and my redness visibly toned down within minutes. Bonus: no sticky residue afterward.
My ultimate test was spritzing it on over a full face of makeup (you know, midday when the dryness kicks in), and I'm happy to report that it passed with flying colors. No cakiness, no weird patchiness—just an instant glow that somehow made everything look fresher. On days I had a beauty sponge handy, I pressed the mist into the skin and it helped re-melt my makeup back into place, ultimately giving my complexion a soft, glazed finish.
I'm also a huge fan of the mister itself. It doesn’t shoot out in aggressive bursts like some face sprays I’ve tried. Rather than leaving behind big droplets and water streaks, it disperses a super fine, even amount of product that feels more like a veil than a spritz. This all makes the experience feel luxe and intentional, and honestly, I think that’s a big part of why it works so well
Worth It?

At $30 for 80ml, it’s not exactly drugstore-priced — but in my opinion, it earns its keep. If you already love the glazed donut aesthetic, this is the next natural step. And if you’re just Rhode-curious, this might be the easiest way to experience the glow.

A TikTok favorite, the Iconic London Prep-Set-Glow Hydrating Glowy Setting Spray also promises to give the complexion a glowy finish, but compared to the Rhode Glazing Mist, it's more of a shimmery glow (whereas the latter is more of skincare, but in mist form). Where the Iconic London setting spray sets your look, the Rhode Glazing Mist refreshes it.
TL;DR
Rhode’s new Glazing Mist is the latest addition to Bieber’s “glaze” lineup. Designed to refresh skin anytime, this cloud-like mist hydrates, soothes, and revives your skin's glow without disturbing makeup. With barrier-loving ingredients like ectoin, ceramides, and beta-glucan, it’s like a mini facial in a bottle—perfect for midday touch-ups, travel, or a post-gym refresh.
