The streets of Paris are very much alive. With sidewalk cigarette and champagne breaks between shows, endless parties to choose from, and fashion moments being fed to us every second of everyday, we're drawing inspiration from both runways and street style. As the Spring/Summer 2027 season continues to unfold, it feels so right that the weather in Paris feels akin to that of March, April, and May. With highs in the low 70s and lows in the 60s, transitional dressing amongst show goers is on full display.
Time and time again, we're reminded that certain colors don't belong to specific seasons. Whether we're foregoing the dated and classist rule of not wearing white after labor day, embracing a gothic summer in all black in the scorching heat, or investing in bold colored knitwear and coats for winter, we've learned the most important fashion lesson: everyone should just wear whatever they want.
Now, Paris Fashion Week attendees have spoken: primary colored heels are in—and for all seasons.

One paired a deeper red pair with a gray skirt suit set, and another completed an all white look consisting of a button-up top and lace-trimmed maxi skirt with a bright red pair.

One seamlessly paired dark blue suede heels with dark blue jeans and a red and blue sweater with a white collared shirt underneath. Another guest unlocked a new color pairing that we didn't know we needed. She wore a voluminous powder pink tulle gown with vibrant cobalt blue Dior strappy sandals for an unexpected pairing that worked.

Long story short: just because it's summer doesn't mean it's too late to add a primary color pump to your rotation, at least for the sake of brightening up the inevitably dreary winter months.
