Not once, but twice in a single outfit.

On the bustling streets of Paris, ahead of the Miu Miu show yesterday, Emma Corrin cosigned the plaid trend not once, but twice in a single outfit. Corrin, a certified Miu Miu muse for years, attended the house's Spring/Summer 2026 show in a gray, red, and black plaid pleated midi skirt and a green, red, and navy plaid zip up fleece jacket. Their look also featured notable silver embellished crew socks, a silky button up top, a black belt with a gold buckle, and a Miu Miu Napa Pocket Bag.

Emma Corrin's Miu Miu showing is far from the first, second, or third time that we've seen plaid in the past month, though. Models have been galavanting down runways in plaid coats, skirts, and more all month long, while attendees have followed suit, affirming that plaid is the print of fall.

At Chanel, the house's classic tweed was of course present, with the addition of plaid, which was accomplished in other ways too: sheer organza fabrics created a layered check effect with translucent skirts, while elsewhere tiny beads formed plaid jackets that looked like boucle wool to the naked eye. At Coperni, sheer fabric was draped to create an asymmetric closure on the gray plaid skirt. On Christopher Esber's runway, a yellow plaid off the shoulder dress was draped and cinched at the waist to create a twisted effect.

Over in London, Burberry's Daniel Lee put bold, electrifying spins on the house's signature tartan with plaid gabardine trench coats in yellow, blue, red, and green, and offering plaid two piece minis in lime and pink glo mesh. Meanwhile, Chopova Lowena's collection embraced plaids in creative and clashing ways: various plaid prints stitched or held together with silver industrial hoops, creating a patchwork look.

While Emma Corrin and fellow show-goers have declared that plaid is the print of fall, designers and their creative interpretations for their Spring/Summer 2026 have taken it a step further: it might just be the print of winter, spring, and summer too.
