The Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 season is coming to an end, so that means it's time to take stock of the beauty trends that have developed along the way. At New York Fashion Week, beauty was all about drama. With feather nail extensions, frosted eyes, crimped hair, and fully lined eyes leading the way, the beauty looks were bold and told a story. In Paris, colors were bold, texture was prominent, and messy makeup continued to reign supreme, but there was also space for the minimal makeup girl and sleek, polished styles—and it's this dichotomy that makes both fashion and beauty so much fun.

While next spring and summer feel like a lifetime away, if we've learned anything lately, it's that seasons don't own colors, trends, or style—we actually encourage everyone to wear things typically associated with warmer weather in the fall and winter.

Ahead, the key beauty trend takeaways from Paris Fashion Week's Spring/Summer 2027 season.

Glossy Hair

While some runways have embraced live-in hair and flyaways galore, we've also seen a lot of sleek and glossy hair. On Victoria Beckham's Spring/Summer 2027 runway, lead hairstylist Anthony Turner used Schwarzkopf Professional products, including OSiS Glow and the FIBRE CLINIX Fibre Sealer, to create slick looks. On Mugler's Spring/Summer 2027 runway, hair was pulled back and equally as sleek.

Under Eye Shadow

For Lacoste's Spring/Summer 2027 show, it was all about orange. So much so that makeup artist Lucy Bridge didn't just put orange eyeshadow on the lids, but all around the eye instead.

The eye makeup on Vaquera's Spring/Summer 2027 was equally as bold and dramatic. Makeup artist Daniel Sallstrom colored far outside of the lines with purple eyeshadow that traveled down to the cheeks.

Sequined Lips

Paris Fashion Week reminded us that glitter isn't just for the eyes or cheeks—and that beauty doesn't always have to be entirely practical. For Cecilie Bahnsen, makeup artist Mel Arter scattered small circular sequins along the lips and surrounding face for a whimsical yet messy and lived-in look. Over at Vaquera, the sequins were smaller and more condensed on the lips, almost as if they were encrusted in glitter.

Baby Blue Eyeshadow

Elie Saab SS27 // Spotlight Launchmetrics

Light blue eyeshadow, a big nod to makeup eras past, continues to trend on runways. For Valentino, makeup artist Yadim Carranza went for blue eyeshadow that was creased and intentionally unevenly applied. At Elie Saab, makeup artist Tom Pecheux went for blue eyeshadow that was more luminous, concentrated, and applied evenly at the outermost corners of the eyes.

Soft Romantic Glam

Johanna Ortiz SS27 // Spotlight Launchmetrics

The soft romantic glam girl is not to be confused with the clean girl. She is minimal due to her free-spirited nature, but she still takes excellent care of her skin. She loves, more than anything, a slight pink flush. On Chloé's Spring/Summer 2027 runway, skin was prepped with iS Clinical products such as the Hydra-Cool Serum and Daily Dynamic Hydrator for the sake of luminosity. At Johana Ortiz, makeup was minimal save for a good flush of blush.

Colored Hair

From the ombre curls courtesy of Cyndia Harvey at Casablanca to the feathery neon otherworldly wigs by Louis Ghewy at Mugler to the boho pink hair streaks that Damien Boissinot styled for Isabel Marant, Paris Fashion Week SS27 runways affirmed that bold colored hair is in.

Bright Red Lips

Lanvin SS27 // Spotlight Launchmetrics
Alainpaul SS27 // Spotlight Launchmetrics

With the red lip forever being a beauty classic, Paris Fashion Week runways encouraged us to embrace the hue in its brightest form. On Lanvin's Spring/Summer 2027 runway, bright red lips contrasted with black garments for the ultimate contrast and with red garments for a monochromatic moment. Over at Alainpaul, bright red lips were paired with metallics and neutrals alike.

Purple Eyeshadow

Akris SS27 // Spotlight Launchmetrics
Casablanca SS27 // Spotlight Launchmetrics

This season, a new eyeshadow color trend entered the chat: light purple. At Akris, Diane Kendal paired light purple eyeshadow with both matching garments and neutral palettes. At Casablanca, purple eyeshadow was paired with garments of varying colors for maximal moments.
