But yesterday’s appearance erred more on an Old Hollywood approach, keeping to her timeless and unfussy air. She wore a bouclé knit dress dress from Khaite’s spring collection with raw detailing along the collar, sleeves, and hemline, adding a tactile, undone elegance. She accessorized with Proenza Schouler’s Silo bag in taupe suede, plus classic black sunglasses, keeping the look minimal and refined.
Fresh off critical acclaim for her role in Gia Coppola’s The Last Showgirl as Shelly Gardner—a Las Vegas showgirl nearing the end of her famed career—in which she stars alongside Jamie Lee Curtis and Kiernan Shipka, Anderson’s style affirms one thing: that she’s stepped into a new chapter.
