Prada's Continued Triumph, Chloé New Campaign & More News

What a week it’s been in the Gucciverse! This week, Demna revealed his hotly anticipated Spring/Summer 2026 debut for Gucci via a look book, film screening-turned red carpet runway, and a 30-minute short film directed by Spike Jonze and Halina Reijn. You can read more about my thoughts here.

Naturally, the blockbuster rollout eclipsed most of whatever else was taking place in Milan this week. That is, until Prada yesterday, where Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada affirmed that they stay one step ahead of us all with a perfectly of-the-times collection.

There were multi-coloured leather opera gloves and suspender-like skirts and taffeta bubble dresses and little poplin micro shorts with faux pockets, and the whole thing came together on a vinyl orange floor. It was, apparently, “a response to the overload of contemporary culture” and if there’s one thing I feel deeply right now, it’s that.

Chloé’s Paddington Bag Campaign Arrives

David Sims for Chloé

Elsewhere, Chemena Kamali has reaffirmed the return of the Chloé Paddington bag with a new campaign starring Aimee Lou Wood, Kendall Jenner, and Anna from the K-Pop group Meovv shot by David Sims on film. We all love a bulky vintage bag moment, as proven by the popularity and return of the Balenciaga City bag, so Kamali’s reissuing of the brand’s 2000s icon is a clever move on the accessories front.

Loewe Teases A New Era

Loewe

In other campaign news, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have released a first look at their creative for Loewe, with a series of close-cropped images of models and talents by fine art photographer Talia Chetrit. Redefining the visual language of the Spanish house in preparation for the Proenza Schouler founders’ debut collection this season, the designers say the teaser images capture “an optimism and spirit that we recognize as deeply personal to us as individuals.”

Now, in 2025, the photographer continues the journey with the brand as a creative muse.

Jacquemus Collaborates With Nike On A Classic

Jacquemus X Nike

It’s a big week of collaboration news. Nike and Jacquemus are back with another collaboration, this time reimagining the iconic Moon Shoe for the first time through a ballet-style lens. The buzzy French label and iconic sportswear brand have worked together for multiple years now, producing sold-out collections that fuse sportswear with Simon Porte Jacquemus’ playful design codes. The campaign stars a shirtless Nicholas Alexander Chavez, shot in a ballet studio by Oliver Hadlee Pearch. With its vintage feel and satin upper, I have no doubt that the Jacquemus X Nike Moon Shoe will be another home run.
