Every few years, a new wave of power stylists emerge into the zeitgeist. You might not know their names, but you’ve definitely seen their work. Some of the most famous bodies of the moment count on these creatives to craft their style and launch them into the stratosphere, personal brand first. They're the ones who are shaping the visual language of today through their celebrity clients and editorial work, which immediately get shared, discussed and dissected by the wider public.

They're responsible for pop-princess rebrands, personal style glow-ups, and some of the most notable magazine covers of the past year. This group of stylists' commitment to their clients goes beyond just styling them for an event; it span all facets of their visual identity, and the bonds go deep. From visionaries like Dara Allen, who is responsible for the style evolution of Hunter Schafer and Addison Rae, to Doechii’s Sam Woolf—the Australian who has helped catapulted the rap superstar to fashion icon status—and editorial stylists like Dogukan Nesanir and Marika-Ella Ames, these are the new class of stylists whose voices, translated through clothing, are world-building and thought-provoking in their execution.

Below, we’re spotlighting some of these next-generation stylists and creatives to follow immediately.

British-born celebrity stylist Danyul Brown boasts a client list of names like Lisa Rinna, Amelia Gray, and Alix Earle, to name a few. Currently based in Los Angeles, Brown cut his teeth at Alexander McQueen before becoming one of the most sought after celebrity stylists for It girls of the moment. Brown’s work, especially with Rinna, is campy and out there, while with her model daughter Gray, we see a more polished, off-beat, and youthful approach.

That would be Chris Horan, the pop-sensation’s personal stylist whose client list includes, alongside XCX, Christina Aguilera and Barbie Ferreira. Webb also frequently works with BLACKPINK’s Lisa Manoban, creating off-beat and avant garde moments on both the red carpet and cover shoots that are rooted in opulence, femininity, and fantasy.

Australian-born stylist Sam Woolf is the name responsible for Doechii’s impeccable style, and the genius behind some of her most memorable looks. Think: Thom Browne army at the Grammy’s, her barefoot look for the Chloé show, and her sculptural Valentino couture look for The Grand Diner du Louvre in Paris. Woolf’s approach is both modern and sexy, while keeping the rapper’s individual style cues at the forefront.
