As you all know, we love talking about the items we covet: from afar, from up-close, and the ones we actually pull the trigger on and, in turn, giving our readers monthly shopping inspiration. Now, as 2025 comes to a close, we're taking stock of the items we actually wore—and when I say wore, I mean wore a lot, perhaps to the extent that we'll be needing to pay a visit to our trusted cobblers in the new year.

Despite having heavy rotations, there are items that we just can't help but wear into the ground—I, for example, have a ridiculous amount of shoes but tend to pull the same two pairs. These items tend to be staples, timeless, and easy to pair—all things to keep in mind as we shop in 2026. From classic ballet flats to jewelry that never comes off, we present to you: our most worn items of the year.

Faith Xue, Editor-in-Chief

Gucci Horsebit Loafer

"I was never much of a loafer person, but somehow upon reflecting on my most-worn items of the year, these chunky Gucci ones kept appearing. I have another pair of loafers from a competing brand, and these ones are exponentially more comfortable. Plus, I appreciate the added height and the fact they go with literally everything."

The Anteros Lief Button-Down

"I already waxed poetic about this on Coveteur’s Substack, but this is truly the perfect white button-up. I switch off between this one, which has slight bell sleeves with a longer slit, and the Presley, which is a more classic cut with extra-long sleeves."

Citizens Of Humanity Cashmere Denim Genova Low Rise Jeans

"They had me at the name: Cashmere Denim. Who doesn’t want their denim to feel as soft as cashmere? I’ve been wearing this bootcut silhouette non-stop all year and the denim truly is so soft, it feels like I’m wearing cashmere lounge pants."

Nike Shox Sneakers

"This was my most-worn shoe of the year, hands down. I am a forever Nike Shox girl. They add a little something to any outfit, whether I’m headed to the airport in full athleisure, running out the door in my favorite pair of Frankie Shop slacks. They even look great when paired with a midi skirt. She’s versatile!"

Maison Margiela Tabi Ballet Flats

"By far my Margiela Tabi Ballerina’s have gained the most mileage this year. I have had mine for four years and they are thoroughly broken in, so opt for these as my daily drivers all throughout the warmer months. Safe to say they are due for a trip to the cobbler soon!"

Lie Studio The Sofie Ring

"I bought a silver rolling ring from a market in England this summer, and it hasn’t left my middle finger since. I love the simple, clean design. It’s become an everyday staple."

Levi's Blue Low Loose Jeans

"I wouldn’t be me if one of my most worn items this year wasn’t a pair of slouchy blue jeans. I love this Levi’s pair in a size up for ultimate slouch. They sit right on the hips and feel baggy enough to have that “boyfriend” effect without flaring out extensively."

SIR The Label Scala Leather Belt

"There’s just something about adding a fun, unexpected belt to an outfit that really ties everything together. I love an Australian brand—they’re clearly doing something right over there because the quality is top-tier. This is the belt I reach for no matter the occasion; it instantly makes any outfit feel more elevated, and I’ve even gotten some of my friends hooked on it too."

HAMMITT Kyle Belted Suede Gunmetal Bag

"There’s just something about adding a fun, unexpected belt to an outfit that really ties everything together. I love an Australian brand—they’re clearly doing something right over there because the quality is top-tier. This is the belt I reach for no matter the occasion; it instantly makes any outfit feel more elevated, and I’ve even gotten some of my friends hooked on it too."

Miu Miu Miutine Eau de Parfum

"Something Miu Miu was bound to make this list for me, but the perfume took me by surprise. Add patchouli to a fragrance and I’m immediately intrigued. The wild strawberry head note makes layering this scent fun to play around with too."

Bianca Asare, Associate Editor

Maison Margiela Tabi Ballet Flats

"I’m a little concerned about how much I wore these this year just because I don’t want to destroy them. But they’re just so perfect and add a much needed elevated element to every single look and every single aesthetic. I’m now eyeing the same pair in metallic silver…"

Reformation Ani Loafers

"I started wearing these consistently in an attempt to stop wearing my Tabi’s everyday. These make more sense for fall and winter, anyway. I love that these are a classic loafer silhouette but feature the ruched detail to add a fun and different touch."

Kala Herh, Social Strategy Lead

Gucci Horsebit Chain Shoulder Bag

"If there’s one bag in my closet I grab more than any other, it’s this Tom Ford-era Gucci bag. It was so graciously passed down to me from my mom and remains one of my most coveted items in my closet. (Mom, if you’re reading this: hi! Don’t worry, she’s in very good hands!)"

Cole Haan Penny Loafers

"No matter the season, you’ll find me in a pair of loafers. I particularly love this pair from Cole Haan, which deliver every single time. Usually a new pair of loafers take me weeks to break in, but these were comfortable after a few wears."

Tank Air Studio Tank

"By now, everyone knows I love a good Tank Air. Soft, lightweight, and elevated—these tops make getting dressed so easy! Admittedly, I have one in every color because, honestly, one is never enough."

Miu Miu Tyre Sneakers

"Day to day, I'm in jeans plus these sneakers."

Darkpark Creased Straight Jeans

"The best jeans!"

Splits59 Airweight Super High Waist Leggings

"I wear these leggings daily. They’re amazing with boots or to workout in."

Sydney Gore, Contributor

Tory Burch Violet T-Strap Mules

"Every time I wear these shoes someone stops me to ask where to buy them, a good mule goes a longggg way."

H-O-R-S-E The Track Pant

"I haven’t been able to take these pants off since I got them a few weeks ago which speaks volumes. You won’t regret completing the kit with the sweatshirt."

Koss Porta Pro Headphones

"I’ve been rocking Koss Porta’s wired headphones since the pre-pandemic days and never leave home without them! You’ll never experience this kind of intimacy with an AirPod."

Yaminah Mayo, Contributor

Adidas Tokyo Sneakers

"They’re so sleek and comfortable; absolutely ideal on vacation for walking around and sightseeing."

Damson Madder Fioki PJ Set

"They are the perfect year round pajamas. They make me feel so put together even if my only plans are to sit at my desk, drink matcha, and write."
