Our Favorite Looks From the 2022 Met Gala Red Carpet

For the fashion devotee, few red carpets surpass that of the Met Gala. Co-chaired by Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Regina King as well as Anna Wintour, Tom Ford, and Adam Mosseri, this year's event celebrates the Costume Institute’s exhibit “In America: An Anthology of Fashion." The theme for the exhibit and corresponding red carpet is Gilded Glamour. Referencing the Gilded Age, this period in American sartorial history stretched from 1870 to 1890 and emphasized excess. Think satin, velvet, lace, and bows. Needless to say, we’re anxiously anticipating how the stars will interpret the idea.
