The Most Practical Inspiration From Men’s Fashion Week

I have always gone to women’s fashion week street style for more abstract, artistic inspiration. I go to men’s for its practical counterpart. If I want a subtle lesson in how to tastefully approach gorpcore or monochromatic winter layering, it’s men’s week that provides (thank you, Mads Mikkelsen—see slide 6.) On that note, this particular season did not disappoint. While there were many adventurous looks as we have come to expect from any fashion week (i.e. Lucien Laviscount in his Louis Vuitton skirt), there were even more that could be directly translated into everyday dressing. Here, we’ve gathered a selection of our favorite (mostly wearable) street style looks from the looks at Menswear fashion week Fall '23 to help you stay comfortable, stylish, and perhaps even a bit dapper this winter.
