Sultry Shades & Retro Silhouettes Are the Vibe This March
These are clothes to boogie in.

New York City is vibrating with energy as spring attempts to extend its welcome in the form of temperatures that don’t trigger a wince. As winter releases its grip, a desire to see, do, and experience takes over. At no point in time was this mentality better exhibited than in the ’70s, when groovy escapism leaked into the way people dressed themselves. Subsequently, the color story encapsulated all these emotions via sultry pinks, deep oranges, and vivid greens. This March, go bold in color and slinky in silhouette. How better to anticipate nights wasted away on restaurant terraces than by stocking our wardrobe with retro staples in seductive hues rendered in materials that still lock in a bit of warmth? Maybe that’s the vibe or maybe I just enjoyed the Studio 54 documentary too much.
