Perfecting your personal style has a serious learning curve, and Mandy Lee (AKA @oldloserinbrooklyn) has helped her 600,000 followers cross-platform find acceptance and patience along the journey. As New York’s Fall/Winter 2024 Fashion Week comes to a close, it’s halfway through the wildly successful #75HardStyleChallenge created by Mandy Lee. Fashion Week attendees historically splurge on entirely new looks for a chance to be seen through Mr. Street Peeper’s legendary lens. Still, Mandy’s impact on not purchasing new items and only styling those that you already own in the name of sustainability has left a lasting impact during the short six weeks of the challenge so far. I wanted to see how the busiest fashion creator’s week unfolded, so I gave her a 35mm camera to document her time collaborating with Proenza Schouler, Tory Burch, and even a video with style icon Alexa Chung.
