What do Alex Consani, Vittoria Ceretti, and all of team Coveteur have in common? We're all obsessed with Gucci's Borsetto bag. The newest it-bag from Demna's Gucci has already made its way onto the shoulders and into the hands of some of our favorite it-girls—and, in turn, has made its way onto all of our wishlists. Can you blame any of us, really?

The bag from the Spring/Summer 2026 collection is everything good about old Gucci and new Gucci meshed together in the perfect monogrammed (or leather or suede) package, tied together with the house's web stripes. The bag features the Horsebit, an ode to the house's original equestrian inspirations and a timeless, iconic symbol of Gucci, and is a relaxed, modern, and entirely practical rectangular silhouette. This boxy, bowling bag and briefcase inspired silhouette has been recently embraced by it-girls far and wide as a collective move away from the impractical mini bag. This style makes more of a statement and perhaps the statement is something like this: I have good taste and mean business.

The Borsetto is available in both medium and large sizes (a signifier of functional fashion being here to stay), both spacious enough to carry all of your essentials, and featuring an elongated handle and detachable strap, the versatility is a major selling point—not that we needed to be sold any further.

Speaking of versatility, Vittoria Ceretti was spotted heading to the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics with the Borsetta in her hands, paired with a fur coat and jeans. Over in New York City, Alex Consani had the Borsetto casually flung over her shoulders and perfectly tucked under her arm. And with that, we add two more it-girl's co-signing the trend to our list.

The name Borsetto, like the bag itself, is a mashup—a combination of the word 'borsa' (Italian for 'bag') and 'morsetta' (Italian for 'horsebit')—making it so quintessentially Gucci.
