If you're familiar with the saying "clutching your pearls," you most likely associate pearl necklaces with an older generation of women that frequently looks at millennials and gen z with a side-eye—or, regardless of age, the type of woman who is easily offended and has no issue openly expressing moral outrage. If that's your perception, fair enough. But what if I told you that, thanks to some of favorite designers, the pearl necklace is being rebranded in 2026?

The pearl necklace was a status symbol, as well as a symbol of purity and divinity, from as far back as 420 BC—yes, it's an incredibly persistent trend originally popularized by kings, queens, and aristocrats. During the Elizabethan era, pearls were the most sought after gem, more highly coveted than diamonds or precious gemstones. Like all things originally popularized the by wealthy, pearl necklaces became sought after by people of varying classes. In 1893, Kokichi Mikimoto created the world's first cultured pearls which led to widespread availability by the 1920s and Coco Chanel made a strong case the pearl necklace as an accessory to elevate even the most casual of outfits—the first and second pearl necklace rebrand, if you will.

Now, in 2026, the pearl necklace has received another major rebrand and reclaimed a spot in modern fashion—that's just the nature of the trend cycle. Now, pearl necklaces are popular in interesting shapes rather than the traditional orb that likely comes to mind, are often paired with other materials for a mixed-media look, are elevated by pendants, feature oversized pearls, and come in the style of the forever popular choker necklace.

Statement Pearl Necklaces

On Chanel's Fall/Winter 2026 runway, chunky pearls of varying sizes were contrasted by black material on a loose, slightly longer choker necklace.

For her surprise Coachella appearance with Justin Bieber, Tems made a strong case for maximal pearls with layers on layers on layers contrasting with her black sequined corset, adding a sweet, delicate touch, and giving us all the styling inspiration that we need.

The Long Pearl Necklace

While Shushu/Tong's Spring/Summer 2026 runway featured a variation of pearls, including choker styles with gold pendants, the maximal pearls with maximal length are what really caught our eyes. John Richmond's Fall/Winter 2026 runway also had us considering pearl necklaces in different forms, long styles wrapped around and long styles that culminated in a cross pendant in particular.

Pearl Chokers

Forever icon Parker Posey have caught on to the trend and accessorized her 2026 Golden Globes look with a choker style pearl necklace complete with a large jewel in the center.

Rihanna was arguably the first endorser of the pearl necklace comeback, styling a choker as far back as men's fashion week in Paris—and as the trendsetter that she is, we should've taken note of this revival long ago.

This is all to say that pearl necklace trend has expanded so much that there are so many options—and what was once demure and pure, and can still be interepreted and styled as so, is now also edgy.

If you're even moderately online, there's a good chance you caught the celebrity "christening cocktail" posts from Luminara, a Ritz-Carlton superyacht, last June: Martha Stewart, drink in hand, in a bright-yellow Dianna Singh caftan; Kendall Jenner smiling next to Nina Dobrev and Kate Hudson; Alix Earle posting about chipping her veneer as she films a GRWM for that night's white party. It was the yacht party seen around the world. So, when the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection invited me for a three-night voyage on the Ilma, Luminara’s equally glamorous sister vessel, I packed my bags and flew to San Juan, just a quick four-hour flight away from New York.

I was on board the Ilma for three nights, and by day two I had already mentally rearranged my entire travel calendar to figure out how to get back as fast as humanly possible. By day three, I had stopped checking my phone. There was too much to look at: the sun sinking below the pink horizon at golden hour, Johanna Ortiz's cheery prints splashed across Decks 9 and 10, my second Coconut Veil cocktail sweating gently in my hand. Physically, I'm writing this back in New York as the city struggles to break 70 degrees. Mentally, I'm still on my private deck, book open, afternoon sun warm on my face, slowly lulling me to a half-asleep state.

It's no coincidence that Ilma is designed to leave you wanting more. "Luxury travel today is increasingly defined by intention, authenticity, and emotional resonance," Gaby Aiguesvives, Chief Marketing Officer of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, tells me. Jet-setting travelers aren't just chasing grandness or glitz anymore—they want their vacation to make them feel something. I certainly did, as I explored every inch of the 790-foot yacht, ate to my heart's content, and felt my shoulders—perpetually tight and hunched from staring at a screen in my Greenwich Village apartment—fully unknot for the first time in recent memory.

The Rooms

My suite, like all of Ilma's 224, was quite roomy and came with a private terrace overlooking the sea. I have been on “luxury” cruises before, but this room was in a whole other league—more like staying on your billionaire friend’s private yacht than anything resembling a typical cruise ship. First of all: every room comes with its own dedicated butler. I never thought of myself as someone who required butler service for my day-to-day going-ons, but I fear the experience has ruined me. I will miss having someone on speed dial, who appears within seconds, ready to at my beck and call, whether I need an extra towel or a steamer. Beyond that, the Ritz-Carlton-level service translated seamlessly, where everything from the pristine turndown service to my morning coffee order arrived without a hiccup.  The bed was cloud-soft. The bathroom, with its black and white marble walls and a deep soaking tub, was honestly one of the most photogenic spaces on the entire yacht.

I didn’t expect how meaningful it would feel to have a private terrace on the water. Waking up, stepping outside in a fluffy robe, and having nothing in front of you except miles of open sea is an experience that simply doesn't translate to a land-based hotel, no matter how good the hotel is. It's the single most special thing about the Ilma.

The Johanna Ortiz Touch

Fashion and hospitality have been increasingly intertwined (see: the Jacquemus takeover at the Monte Carlo Hotel), and Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has joined in the designer takeover trend by outfitting Decks 9 and 10 with custom prints from Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz. Ortiz, best known for her bold tropical prints and breezy designs that are just begging to be worn to sip a Mai Tai on a beach somewhere warm, was tasked by the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection team to add a touch of style and whimsy to the Ilma. The result is a custom print series, which weaves Ortiz's signature sailing rope knot motif through Caribbean-inspired flora: " “feels immersive yet effortless," was the goal, according to Ortiz.

Her La Rumba print lives on Deck 10's Pool Deck, rendered in layered deep blue, while La Siesta takes over Deck 9's Observation Terrace in rich tropical green. "[They] reflect two moods I am always drawn to when I travel," Ortiz says. "Moments of celebration and moments of pause. Both are deeply connected to nature, craftsmanship, and the joy of living."  

The Food & Drink 

The Ilma casually boasts five dining venues and seven bars. There’s also a wine vault (!) on board.The food program was developed in collaboration with James Beard Award-winning chefs Fabio Trabocchi and Michael Mina. Thus, it's clear the food is a priority, not an afterthought.

Our trip kicked off on embarkation night with the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection x Johanna Ortiz welcome dinner at Beach House on Deck 5. The airy restaurant has an outdoor space overlooking the back deck (this ended up being our favorite place to get lunch on the yacht—don’t skip the soft shell crab burger), but dinner was served indoors and consisted of a fragrant black cod and a chocolate mousse. Dinner the first full night at sea was at Memorī on Deck 4, which became one of my favorite dining locations. As a devoted sushi person, I was immediately won over by the sashimi, which is sliced fresh at the counter in front of you, and stayed for the most decadent and rich slice of black sesame cake, which has haunted my thoughts ever since. 

The final night's dinner was at Seta su Ilma on Deck 3, the most formal of Ilma's venues and the only one with an added fee (and worth every penny). Designed with Trabocchi, the menu is Italian at its core: we started with a 24-karat gold-encrusted caviar bite, moved through a perfect lobster ravioli, and finished with the most delicate slice of wagyu. Each course also came with its own pairing, explained thoughtfully by our knowledgable sommelier. Overall, the food was stunning from start to finish, and the service was impeccable—as in, the waiters will remember your exact coffee order the next morning at breakfast, or the specific brand of hot sauce you prefer with your eggs. 

The Spa

The Ritz-Carlton Spa on board is everything you'd expect, with the added bonus that you're at sea when you're inside it. I had a deep muscle massage mid-morning on our St. John day and emerged looking like someone who has recently made very good life choices. Don't skip the steam room after your treatment—you’ll practically float back to your room.  

The Activities 

If you're nervous about spending extended time on a boat, I'll say this: get over it, and also, Ilma is large enough that you'll never feel cramped. But for the adventurous, the yacht docks each day, and the shore excursions are genuinely exceptional.

On the first day, we went on a Maho Bay National Park Turtle Snorkel Sail: a three-hour catamaran excursion aboard the 65-foot Lady Lynsey II through the Virgin Islands National Park, culminating in snorkeling alongside green and hawksbill sea turtles in improbably turquoise water. We ended with a glass of champagne sailing back to Cruz Bay, which felt like exactly the right conclusion.

There’s also the Virgin Gorda Speed Boat Experience, where you’ll spend hours cruising, swimming, and snorkeling through the British Virgin Islands. If Maho Bay was serene, Virgin Gorda is more exhilarating. Both days left plenty of afternoon time on board, which I spent sunbathing (SPF on, always) on the front deck, happily horizontal.

The Secret Spot

My favorite tucked-away space on the Ilma—and, it turns out, Aiguesvives' as well—was the Observation Terrace on Deck 9, where Ortiz's La Siesta print lives. "It's a quieter, more understated area of the yacht and an ideal place to pause and unwind, whether for a mid-day nap or to watch the sunset," she told me. "There's a natural sense of stillness there, where the sea feels endless and time slows down."

On our last evening, the farewell cocktail hour was held right there—and I watched the sky turn every shade of pink and orange before finally going dark, cocktail in hand, thinking: nothing bad can happen to anyone here.

Final Thoughts

Would I go back? Without hesitation, immediately, on the next available sailing. Ilma runs through the Caribbean for the rest of winter 2026 and pivots to the Mediterranean for summer. If you find yourself on the Observation Terrace at golden hour, order the Coconut Veil and stay until the sky fades to pink. It’ll just be you and miles and miles of open ocean as far as your eyes can see. That feeling alone is worth the trip.

It’s no surprise that chartreuse has emerged as one of the colors of the Spring season this year. After all, the yellow-green hue named after the French liqueur showed up on the runway in every city during the Spring/Summer 2026 season back in September and October last year. 

Now, we are seeing the color trend show up in real life as we shed our dark winter layers for something slightly more cheerful. The vibrant hue made a significant return in the zeitgeist when Gucci’s Fall/Winter 2023 show was held at the brand’s Milanese HQ, which is covered almost entirely in a yellow chartreuse carpet. The color showed up again a season later for Sabato De Sarno’s Spring/Summer 2024 debut, which featured lime chartreuse coats and short sets paired with burgundy leather—a color combo that is now being reported as the palette of choice for many 2026 brides! 

Then 2024 came, and Brat summer was upon us. Brat green was a small departure from a true chartreuse, but in the color family nonetheless, which had us clad in lime-toned accessories all summer long. The evolution of the hue for 2026 marks a growing trend of ditching the pastels for spring and embracing colors with warmer bases for a bolder approach.

On the Spring/Summer 2026 runways last year, we first noticed the color emerge throughout Tibi’s SS26 collection, which featured silky chartreuse peplum dresses and skirts, perfect for spring afternoons. Then in London, it showed up at Simone Rocha as satin pannier dresses and skirts; at Erdem as a chartreuse and green printed ballgown; and at Burberry, where it peeked out from a beige trench in the form of a matching button down set with embroidered details.

Over in Milan, Ferragamo showed a satin mini dress with matching shoes in the hue, alongside a chocolate silk slip dress with chartreuse lace trim and an accompanying chartreuse ostrich feather clutch, while at Prada, a glimpse was seen via a crumpled taffeta underskirt that came down the runway. In Paris, we had multiple chartreuse moments at Saint Laurent. Anthony Vaccarello’s airy nylon trenches and ballgowns were rendered in the green, and over at Balenciaga, Pierpaolo Piccioli created an oversized chartreuse coat and textured skirt, while at Valentino, Alessandro Michele offered it in ruched pencil skirts and fluid crepe trousers.

The trend is likely to carry throughout spring and into the late summertime, so there is plenty of time to invest in your own interpretation of the trend. Shop all our picks, below.

From time to time, we're blessed with a red carpet triple threat. On the red carpet for the premiere of their forthcoming A24 film Mother Mary last night, Anne Hathaway, FKA Twigs, and Michaela Coel all served distinct looks equally worthy of conversation. They also all made sense in the context of a press tour for a psychological drama about pop music, fashion, and lust which reviewers describe as “gothic” and ”dream-like.”

Hathaway siezed the opportunity to put her spin on the naked-dress trend. The actor wore a custom Lever Couture gown constructed out of a shimmery sheer ribbon fabric. The sheer fabric is  wrapped and draped to create tiers, an asymmetrical silhouette, dimension, and sculptural details. The end result is a dreamy, texturally rich look. Hathaway was styled by long-time stylist Erin Walsh who is responsible for gifting us so many interesting eye-catching looks, especially throughout this press tour and for The Devil Wears Prada 2.

Michaela Coel has embarked on a fashion press tour for the ages—and her premiere look is no exception. In collaboration with stylist Nell Kalonji, the duo pulled a look from Sarah Burton's Givenchy Fall 2026 collection: a pale pink draped floral-embroidered cowl-neck top, a matching bomber jacket worn pulled down her arms giving the allusion of puffy detached sleeves, and black balloon pants.

FKA Twigs, who both stars in the film and contributes original music, leaned into the romantic gothic aesthetic that we know and love her for. Twigs and stylist Billy Lobos tapped into Ashi Studios's Spring/Summer 2026 collection and pulled an ecru corseted peplum jacket with a floral appliqué trim, a lace triangle bra, and a perfectly distressed sheer organza and crinoline skirt.

We can only hope for more looks as this press tour rolls out!

Spring is a glorious time for so many reasons. Chirping birds, the air smells good, feels good, flowers are blooming, New Yorkers are finally happy, etc. Chiefly, we do not have to haul ourselves around the city wearing heavy layers as a means of not freezing to death. Soon, we won't even have to layer at all, but for the months up until that happens, plus the cooler evenings that still require a jacket, the funnel neck jacket trend is one we can't escape from.

During the Spring/Summer 2026 shows last September and October, funnel neck jackets were introduced as the outerwear option du jour. It became clear, that as soon as it was warm enough, we'd be up to our necks in leather and cotton jackets, all with high collars.

The utilitarian silhouette offers a less traditional alternative to the classic trench coat— spring's favorite outerwear trend—nodding to workwear trends and practicality, with high collars protecting us from elemental gusts and spring showers. The notion of protective clothing is no new phenomenon as it pertains to the geopolitical state of the world, and in times of upheaval, it's natural that we turn to silhouettes that cocoon us from the elements in a similar way that armor once might have.

On the runways, these shapes were offered in leather from Balenciaga, Khaite, and Alaïa for Spring/Summer 2026, while elsewhere, cotton versions appeared on Victoria Beckham's runway, which saw a heavy cotton canvas jacket in ultramarine blue and classic Khaki, it was all about utilitarianism, a theme that carried through at Tibi and Chloé's SS26 shows.

If you scroll through Black queer sex educator Ericka Hart's Instagram page, you'll find reels featuring tidbits of sex-ed and political commentary broken up by product hauls, interior design content, and reality tv recaps that are still grounded in this truth: everything is always about race. "I started watching Love Island to turn my brain off, but I just couldn't," Hart tells me. "I couldn't look away from the dynamics that were on the screen." Desirability politics, which dictate whose body is seen worthy of life, love, and pleasure, are literally everywhere—and Hart, who has dedicated her life to constantly expanding her critical thinking skills and seeking truth, can't help but notice.

I've followed Ericka Hart on Instagram for years now and have always considered her as a vessel of information, someone who can vocalize and contextualize things that I often struggle to put into words—because in this moment in particular, the atrocities unfolding in the world live outside of the language we currently possess. Sharing your political opinions publicly is scarier than ever, but Hart has no fear. In an ironic way, she has her suburban Maryland upbringing and abstinence-only middle school to thank for that. "I had a Black health teacher who had long red nails and was very cunt in every way, but was like, 'We are not talking about sex at all.' As my true Sagittarius self, I was asking questions like, 'Why aren't we talking about sex? Why do we talk about everything else but this?'," she says.

Ultimately, when her friends started having sex, they were coming to her with their questions and concerns about pregnancy and STDs, and she would take those questions to AOL. Even while in the Peace Corps and working as an HIV/AIDS volunteer in Ethiopia, she was told that she wasn't allowed to talk about sex. "I was in a position of asking myself 'how am I supposed to do this work and not talk about the very thing that would be the issue?'," she says. Hart began talking about sex anyway—in classrooms where it was banned, in very necessary conversations about HIV/AIDS, and beyond, before she began working with young folks and teaching a curriculum centered around pleasure.

In Hart’s first book "Nasty Work: Resist Systems, Explore Desire, & Liberate Yourself", which comes out on April 14th, she educates readers on the intersection of race and pleasure, breaks down how social implications prevent marginalized communities from experiencing pleasure, and establishes how, despite date sex education material and what we’ve been taught, we can all reclaim pleasure on our own terms. "My work is rooted in how systems of oppression impact your ability to engage in your body and to how you honor other people's bodies," she says. The hyper-sexualization of Black bodies dates back to slavery and a time where Black people were considered savage, unworthy of agency, and ultimately responsible for any sexual violence that happens to us. "So how then does that impact how we see ourselves as Black folks and how we approach desire?," she asks. "When in relationship with Black people and with yourself, how is your body being regarded? Is your consent being honored? Is your bodily autonomy being honored? How is your body regarded in the world and how does that inform how you are in relationship with yourself? Race is 100% connected to desire and I don't think that's talked about enough."

There is an entirely separate conversation to be had, which Hart touches on in her literary debut, about the relationship between pleasure and chronically ill or disabled bodies, a conversation equally as personal to the educator, who is a breast cancer survivor. "We are rendered as asexual non-consensually. People treat folks who are chronically ill or disabled as if we don't have sex at all or that we don't deserve pleasure on our own terms, and also that we can't consent," she says. "So a great deal of sexual violence happens to people living with chronic illnesses and disabilities because of the vulnerable position that we are in. Oftentimes in mental health facilities or even at hospitals engaging with doctors, those doctors take advantage either in an exam or under anesthesia in so many ways. There’s a power dynamic that a lot of chronically ill and disabled folks have to engage with in the world with these systems and that often leaves our bodies susceptible to a great deal of harm.”

We live under myriad oppressive systems that are inherently violent and serve as intentional roadblocks to pleasure. This has resulted in less people having sex in 2026—especially younger generations. "The white supremacist capitalist patriarchy intentionally keeps us from experiencing pleasure on our own terms," Hart says. “The world is a disaster. There’s so much atrocity going on and either you are directly impacted by it or you are experiencing it in some other way. People are stressed. It's a financial crisis right now. People are dealing with money. That will impact your libido. If you can't put food on the table, are you really going to want to orgasm?”

Part of Hart’s mission in writing ‘Nasty Work’ is to explore how we can reclaim desire and pleasure on our own terms. “Look at your inherited beliefs, the things that you've been told about the world, and the things that you've been told about your own body that may be impacting your ability to experience your body on your own terms,” Hart says. On the phone, she shares a story about scientists in Amsterdam conducting a massive study revealing that the clitoris contains so many more nerve pathways than anyone knew (five, to be exact) and that they’re more complex than previously understood, thirty years after the same study was conducted for the penis. "What are you being told about your clitoris, about your body, or about your vulva that maybe you didn't know before because the information wasn't even there?," Hart asks. "You likely weren't even taught it if you were in school in the last 30 years, so how have you been relating to your body without that information?"

While this will likely be a lifelong battle for most of us, it’s important that we work towards disconnecting our sense of self worth to whether or not people desire us. "I think how you look is so fleeting, and the fact that our worthiness would be wrapped up in people desiring us truly shows desirability politics at work," Hart says. "It's the idea that if people are seeing me as attractive, then that means that I'm worthy of life. The fact that we have been conditioned to hold so much focus on other people's eyes, and that other people are determining if we're worthy or not—and people aren't to blame for that because the system has forced us into that."

Additionally, rejecting society’s definition of “normalcy” is key for setting ourselves free—while it’s easy to compare ourselves to other people, there’s no box that we need to fit into and there’s no “right” way of approaching relationships, sex, or general life paths. "Everybody starts to believe that they're supposed to be with a man or woman, get married, have children, work a job and that's just the way it's supposed to be," Hart says. "So much so that people will literally stress themselves out trying to fit themselves into this very narrow idea of who you're supposed to be in a relationship with, and it's just not true. That goes for queer and trans people as well. We do the same thing. We try to fit ourselves into those structures, and it doesn't make any sense. It doesn't work."

Most importantly, we have to be open to learning for the rest of our lives through reading, researching and having conversations like this one. We have to continue to expand our critical thinking skills and to grow more confident in asking questions and articulating opinions. “When I read non-fiction, my brain is expanded and I start making these connections to larger things. I don't think we should just be talking about sex in the sex education work that we do. I think we should be talking about capitalism. I think we should be talking about anti-black racism. I think we should be talking about how our country has a propensity for war and how that's connected to rape culture,” Hart says. “Making these larger connections has always been something I've been interested in. And I think if anybody else is interested in doing that, it just requires a lot of critical thinking.”

'Nasty Work' by Ericka Hart

Year after year, Coachella serves as an opportunity for our favorite celebrities to have their most fun with fashion—and to take the most risks because what happens at the desert stays at the desert. On her wrists, silver bangles were stacked and on her ears, the chunkiest of hoop earrings were worn—and overall, jewelry maximalism was embraced. She wore futuristic sunglasses by Schiaparelli that gave a bug eye effect featuring built-in arched eyebrows plus dramatic silver lip hooks.

Between these two Coachella looks, the versatility of Teyana Taylor's personal style was put on full display. This time around, Taylor wore a cropped yellow Guess tank top, khaki pants, and a patterned headscarf.

The internet's favorite girl, Quenlin Blackwell, wore a black sheer off-the-shoulder top featuring a beaded fringed hem with micro mini shorts and black boots for a look that felt on theme while also being entirely practical.

Just when we thought a week might pass us by without a development from a major fashion house, last night it was announced that Stefano Gabbana, the controversial half of Dolce & Gabbana, has stepped down as chairman of the Italian fashion house, which was effective January 1.

The brand has clarified that Gabbana will continue in his creative role, which the brand has called a “a natural evolution of its organizational structure and governance.’’ Alfonso Dolce, Domenico Dolce’s older brother, was named chairman later in January.

The Italian house was embroiled in scandal in 2018 after a series of racist ad campaigns and offensive leaked messages from Gabbana left the brand facing a huge boycott, and has not been able to re-establish public love for the brand in the same way. While there is still cult dedication to the overt Italian glamor that Dolce & Gabbana is best known for, the brand is grappling with significant debt of around €450m ($528m), in line with the luxury slowdown.

Earlier this year at the Fall/Winter 2026 men’s show at Milan Fashion Week, the brand came under more scrutiny for its lack of diverse casting. Even so, Dolce & Gabbana seems to have been somehow able to evade cancel culture for this long. But will it survive the debt?

I love that the bag comes in various sizes, the jumbo version being my favorite (always one for a capacious bag).

Cult Gaia Further Expands Into Bridal

As part of Bridal Week, Cult Gaia released its first Bridal 2026 collection, expanding in the ready-to-wear and accessories brand’s visual language of sculptural silhouettes, fluid draping, and eye-catching details. Bridal week has naturally put weddings on my mind, and the Cult Gaia bride feels like the perfect Town Hall wedding wear.

Zendaya and Law Roach are a creative duo for the ages—all eyes have been on the pair for every Met Gala, major red carpet, and press tour for the last several years. Together, the two take risks, push boundaries, and we must mention that Zendaya just knows how to pose and show off clothes in all of their glory. While her press tour for The Drama has recently kicked off, some promotion for Dune: Part 3 has already started and promotion for season 3 of Euphoria will follow closely. This is all to say that we've officially embarked on an extended, triple Zendaya press tour—thank God! Save from a couple fashion month appearances and the occasional red carpet, we haven't seen that much of our favorite fashion girl lately—and with rumors that she secretly tied the knot with Tom Holland, it's safe to assume that she's been busy with more important things than serving us red carpet looks.

For the premiere of season 3 of Euphoria, Zendaya and Law Roach pulled a chocolate brown gown from Ashi Studios's Spring/Summer 2026 collection. The gown featured a high neckline, dramatic train, and teased a bit of side-boob.

Zendaya took the opportunity to wear another something blue for the NYC The Drama premiere after party. This time, she wore semi-naked dress by Di Petsa featuring a sheer bodice with a 3D rope design and low waisted satin skirt.

For her something blue, Zendaya and Law Roach pulled a Schiaparellli Haute Couture gown made out of 65,000 blue and black raw silk feathers for a special screening of The Drama in NYC.

Out and about doing press for The Drama in NYC, Zendaya took a pause from bridal dressing to make a statement. She wore a matching set from Erdem's Fall 2026 collection: a tweed funnel-neck jacket and feathered statement skirt.

Despite this dress being black, Zendaya and stylist Law Roach remain taking the bridal theme very seriously. This Armani Privé gown with a deep plunge trimmed with oversized beads was originally designed for and worn by Cate Blanchett—the chicest take on "something borrowed" that we've ever seen.

Another day of press, another all-white look. This time around, Zendaya wore a sheer white button up blouse with a white bralette underneath, a white tie, and perfectly tailored white pants all by Maison Francesco Scognamiglio.

Let's not forget: we're in the midst of a Dune: Part 3 press tour, too. She attend the film's trailer launch event in Los Angeles in brown leather from head (or neck) to toe. She wore a look consisting of a high-neck leather jacket, pencil skirt, and knee-high leather boots from Elie Saab's Pre-Fall 2026 collection.

She arrived in one show-stopping Fall 2026 look just to change into another—for the actual show, she changed into a floral gown with a halter neckline, ruched corset bodice, from Alexander McQueen's Fall 2026 collection for her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The press tour looks arguably began when she emerged on the 2026 Oscars stage with The Drama co-star Robert Pattinson in a custom chocolate brown Louis Vuitton gown with a draped, off the shoulder neckline.

As we try to trust and call a truce with the New York City weather gods in hopes of consistently warm weather, the inspiration that we've been saving still leans towards dressing for the weather of our dreams—as well as super formal special occasions. The Fashion Trust U.S. Awards had the girls out in their most relevant fashion-forward looks, the Euphoria season 3 got the gang back together and in archival Bob Mackie, Spring 2026 Roberto Cavalli, and Ashi Studios no less, and fashion darling Elle Fanning has embarked on a press tour.

Once again, we are reminded of styling tricks and tips to keep in mind for spring: we should all be playing around with pattern clashing because it (almost) always ends up looking cool, we should be considering tulle skirts as everyday wear, we all need to seriously consider purchasing a solid pair of bootcut jeans and, when one of those tragic days below sixty degrees strikes, just dress like Rihanna in a casual, comfy, and cool all black look.

Out and about in Paris, Rihanna had us reconsidering how we approach feeling comfy and looking cool at the same time. Rihanna wore slit hem leggings, black ballet flats, a black hoodie, a black leather bomber, and completed her look with Celine's Doctor Pouch bag.

At the 2026 Fashion Trust U.S. Awards, Olandria Carthen looked like a Y2k goddess in a dress from Area's Spring 2026 collection. The dress is constructed out of a distressed denim and featured a black trailing train. She accessorized with a black belt worn as a choker necklace.

Out and about in New York City promoting her Apple TV limited series Margo's Got Money Troubles, Elle Fanning combined two aesthetics in an unexpected way. The look, from August Barron, consisted of yellow polo shirt with blue pinstripes, a puffy tulle skirt with an exaggerated bows, and light blue peep-toe heels.

For the premiere of Margo's Got Money Troubles, Elle Fanning pulled a perfectly oversized pinstriped suit from Givenchy's Fall/Winter 2026 collection. As for finishing touches, a maroon neckerchief was the perfect addition.

It's finally time to retire those beauty supply store loofahs that have served us well, because our summer body care routines just got a much needed upgrade. With the help of sunscreen brand Vacation, Soft Services' cult favorite buffing bar has returned with an elevated scent of coconut, banana, pool water, pool toys, and swimsuit fabric—essentially the most nostalgic version of summertime in the form of a bar.

If you’ve ever wondered how in the world your favorite celebrities find the time in their busy schedules to score the best archival vintage, how that bride who’s Instagram you frequent found a highly sought after vintage Vivienne Westwood wedding dress, or if you’ve even browsed a well curated vintage store and the question where do they get all this great stuff from? Even momentarily crossed your mind, they likely had help from a professional vintage sourcer. Someone well versed in search terms, connected to both local and international vintage connoisseurs, and someone who finds a thrill and so much genuine joy in the hunt that they’ve made a living out of it.   

“Anytime you come across an item that you're unable to locate yourself, you can contact a vintage sourcer to hunt it down for you—all we need is an image of the item,” Gab Waller says. Waller, an Australian native and Los Angeles resident, has been in the sourcing space for about eight years now, sourcing some of the most covetable items for celebrity and VIP clientele—it’s more recent that she has been receiving vintage requests, though. “Vintage sourcing requests have exploded within the past two to three years,” Waller says. “[At the beginning of my career] it was ten percent of my business, but now I would say it’s fifty percent.” According to Waller, you need to have eyes and ears all over the world in order to be a master vintage sourcer. While her hunt begins with thought out online searches that begin with a Google reverse image search (“I recommend everyone do that for any item that they're looking for,” she says) and often on Fashionphile, Treasures of NYC, What Goes Around Comes Around, and Vestiare Collective (which is jam packed with “hidden gems” according to Waller), vintage is, for the most part, an offline world. “These pieces are often found in very small boutiques somewhere across the globe,” Waller says. “I did a trip to Tokyo about two weeks ago, and Japan is truly the mecca of vintage sourcing and vintage products.”

For Alice Violier Amzalak, founder of Paris vintage eyewear store Seconde Vue, her love for glasses preceded her love for vintage—but only slightly. "My grandfather was an optician, and I grew up watching him work with so much passion in this field. He opened his first store in France in 1961," Amzalak says. "One day, I went back to this shop, which still exists today, and in the basement I discovered old pieces stored in boxes—forgotten, incredible vintage frames that he had never sold but carefully kept." Through this discovery, Amzalak was overcome with the realization that vintage styles needed to be preserved—and that these treasures should be on the shelves in every opticians shop. Amzalak quit her marketing job at L'Oreal in Paris and embarked on the adventure of sourcing and owning her own business. Her job goes beyond simply finding the frames: "It’s also about restoring each piece with care and attention. My team spends a significant amount of time taking care of every frame we find," Amzalak says. "Each restoration is done by hand in our Parisian atelier, and it can sometimes take days to achieve the right result." For Amzalak, no sourcing experience is ever the same—instead, the right vintage find often comes as a result of a series of special, perfectly timed encounters. She avoids buying big batches of glasses because one of the most important things as a vintage sourcer is attention to detail and condition, and a keen eye for what's real and fake.

​For vintage collector, expert, and stylist Annette Vartanian who works on replenishing brand St. Johns’s archive as well as with individual clients, attention to detail is key for anyone that strives to be a great vintage sourcer. "You should just be able to see and touch a garment and know whether or not it's real. And that takes a lot of homework," she says. "So tell people, if you want to get into this business, you really need to know a brand inside and out almost better than they do." Another big qualification is the willingness to go to great lengths—sometimes international or other side of the world lengths, other times hesitantly following a vintage collector that you just met into their spooky attic lengths. "After talking to the owner of the house, I found out it's his wife's collection. He had built this beautiful closet for her in the attic space," Vartarian said. "And after speaking with him, I realized his wife had died ten years prior—he was just holding onto these items." With vintage, in general, the history, the stories, and the memories that each garment carries is a major part of the overall experience. For Vartanian, intimate encounters like this are just part of the rewarding journey. “I tell people that I help find and preserve fashion history,” she says. “And I’m finding something interesting and potentially keeping it out of the landfill.” And for Amzalak, one of the most rewarding parts of her job is sharing the stories about where the glasses came from with those who ultimately purchase them.

To Waller, Vartanian, and Amzalak, a genuine persistence and thrill for the hunt is the biggest vintage sourcer qualification. Whether it be a vintage Fendi baguette, vintage Dior sunglasses from the ‘70s,  or vintage Levi jeans, a sourcer must have blinders on and tell themselves that every item exists somewhere in the world—and then, from there, make it their mission to track it down. “​​You need to have a mix of refusing to take no as an answer or not letting that block you,” Waller says. Now, Vartarnian watches proudly as her young daughters take it upon themselves to search for unique pieces at flea markets and high-end vintage markets and as they develop their own love for interesting pieces. 

“I believe with every inch of me that this is my true calling. I feel so deeply passionate about this work and I'm a people pleaser at heart,” Waller says. “The search is of course the fun part, but the moment of going back to the client to be like, ‘I have found it!’—there is no better feeling.”

When the lights came on at Tanner Fletcher's bridal show in the beautiful grand cathedral in Midtown Manhattan on a Wednesday evening, one thing was clear: we were in a fairytale. Then, a voiceover rang through St. Bartholomew's Church, guiding us through the Cinderella-inspired story concept: potential spouses travel far and wide to attend a ball in hopes that they'll catch the eye of a young prince. He notes that none of them leave him with that if you know, you know feeling and that his fairytale might not end like the ones that we all devoured as kids—instead of falling for one of the women dressed in Tanner Fletcher's intricately designed bridal gowns, he falls for a man in a suit in the perfect shade of ballerina pink.

"We love our theatrics and storytelling. I think that's something that we like to bring to fashion that's different than the classic runway," Fletcher Kasell tells me ahead of the show. "We're kind of doing a spinoff of the classic Cinderella story in our own way. Our last show was like a little Broadway show and this time it's like a mini ballet."

Models walked down the runway on their way to greet the prince in vintage-inspired looks fit for the modern bride—a variation of veil lengths, embellished headpieces, opera gloves, and more. "We love the '40s. We always go back to the '40s," Kasell said. "I think it's just very timeless. It's from a time where people were still making their own wedding dresses, so it's handcrafted in a way where every little detail is noticeable, even the puckers at the shoulder or the volume of the sleeve, and the delicate silks that are used." But, at the same time, a case is made for foregoing traditions that would have been interpreted as more controversial in that time period—a bride in a short dress, a bride in a dress that's not white, or a bride not wearing a veil at all.

The collection, overall, feels fit for a garden fairy obsessed with Marie Antoinette in a place like upstate New York or the English countryside with embellished handmade silk florals and elements of vintage wedding cakes—bows and piping, for example. Paired with rosy cheeks, powdery skin, light natural lips, and a little bit of a glimmer beneath the eyes, a regency style was achieved. What really stole the show for me, though, were the floral appliqués. "Tanner did this really amazing technique where he used vintage millinery flowers," Kasell says. "The fabric is silk with lattice all over it. He put on all these flowers and placed them so it looks like a garden trellis." This technique elevated a ball gown, a mini dress, and a suit in ways that felt entirely fantastical. Other standout design elements and styling choices included a suit jacket featuring an exaggerated bow that created a mini train, genderless suiting, a veil attached to a bun hairstyle, and an array of pastels, ruffles, and pussy bows that were on par with the Tanner Fletcher codes we know and love.

For these pieces, Tanner Richie, the other half of the design duo, worked directly with the factory and spent time pinning every detail. "Some of our ready to wear is made here, some of it's made overseas— the focus there is more wearability. We want it to be worn, washable, something people can keep putting on," Kasell says. "Whereas all of our wedding pieces are a keepsake that we want people to pass down from generation to generation." The intimate time spent constructing each garment is only one reason why this collection—Tanner Fletcher's third bridal collection ever—is special: another is that after ten years together, Richie and Kasell got engaged in December, making it an especially meaningful time to create bridal wear. "Since we're working on planning our own wedding, we put a lot of that love into this collection," Kasell said.

The third thing that makes this collection feel extra special is this: an engagement is the perfect excuse to celebrate with friends—who they continuously cast in their runway shows. "We have a really solid group of models that we love bringing back every time. It's kind of a crew of characters and we know their personalities really well," Kasell says. Because of this, they take the time to pair the outfit with the personality so as to not have anyone walking the runway in something that feels uncomfortable or untrue to themselves. This, plus the diversity of the models—in terms of age, gender, size, and sexuality—is part of what makes a Tanner Fletcher show feel so authentic and distinguishable.

The show culminated in our protagonist disconnecting with this love interest, but finding his ballerina pink Tanner Fletcher jacket left behind. Unwilling to lose the one of many people that he greeted that felt like home, he calls all suit-wearers back to the castle—from there, models in embellished, pastel, patterned, and floral suits with shirts complete with ruffs and pussy bows walked down the cathedral runway and the concept of suiting, especially for an event as traditional as a wedding, was reimagined.

In the end, our protagonist reconnected with his ballerina pink donning lover and the two grace us with a choreographed ballet routine—they got their happy ending, we as an audience got our happy ending, and so did Richie and Kasell.

From meetings to photoshoots to brand trips, Georgiana Huddart is the epitome of the career woman on-the-go—but, mentally, she's at the beach. As the founder of Hunza G, cult-loved swimwear brand made for all body types, Huddart is always thinking of new designs for lounging by a the ocean (or pool, or any body of water). A reboot of the original "Hunza" label known for the iconic crinkled bodycon dress that Julia Roberts wore in Pretty Woman, the '80s and '90s influences are evident through the designs: high-leg silhouettes, bold color offerings and, of course, that iconic Original Crinkle fabric that's soft, one-size fits all nature has gained a cult following and endorsements from stars like Hailey Bieber, Dua Lipa, and Rihanna.

When she’s not wearing a swimsuit made out of the comfiest and stretchiest of fabrics, Huddart can be spotted in sharply tailored silhouettes, vintage pieces, and brands such as Christopher Esber, Khaite, and the Attico. At night, you'll find her recharging with her beloved CurrentBody LED Mask on, putting together the most curated Spotify playlists, and, more recently, going through the Hunza G archives from the ‘80s and ‘90s to create a small heritage collection.

Breakups aren’t one size fits all. What works for me (or what I think works for me—more on that later) might not work for some. This might sound like a hot take, but lately I’ve been feeling as though breakup sex can actually be something worth indulging in. I’m currently in the midst of an extended breakup and I’d like to take this opportunity to play devil’s advocate.

Breakup sex is the sex that people have before they break up, during the breakup, or after they break up—it’s essentially used as one last attempt to connect before parting ways. While going out of your way to connect with someone you just broke up with might seem counterproductive, breakups are both a physical and emotional process. “Many people indulge because it's physically pleasurable, whilst others may be more drawn to the emotional comfort and familiarity this connection provides during an unfamiliar and uncomfortable time,” relationship and sex therapist Georgina Vass says. “Breakup sex may act as a way to cope with the mixed feelings around the loss and uncertainty for the future.”

Breakups do, after all, feel very similar to grief—the one major similarity is that you are losing the person that you would have found comfort in, in the past. “Attachment does not just switch off the moment a break up happens,” Dr. Viviana Coles, relationship and intimacy expert, says. “There is often still attraction, familiarity, grief, and a desire for comfort, so people reach for what has felt connected before.”

In my case, my experience with  breakup sex unfolded due to my dissatisfaction with how unceremonious the break up felt—I spent an extended amount of time with someone and all I was going to get was a hug and a goodbye? I saw it as a more ceremonious goodbye, one last hurrah, if you will. It’s also very possible that, as a Capricorn, who seeks control and wants to yield the power to change things, I hoped that the act would alter the ultimate outcome—or, at the very least, (and more realistically) extend things for as long as humanly possible. “Break up sex is often a last ditch effort to see if things can be worked through, or even a simple goodbye knowing you’ll never feel them again,” sex therapist and founder of Boutique Psychotherapy Dr. Carli Blau says.

Yes, this did open some doors back up, muddy the waters a bit, and lead to a more extended breakup, but for me, it’s what I needed—a slow weaning off, rather than an abrupt cut off of communication with intimacy that feels familiar. Instead, more communication was opened up that I am hopeful will ultimately result in us parting ways on good terms—perhaps even as friends, but we all know that's complicated. This is, of course, not the right breakup route for everyone—while it feels right for me in this moment, these blurred lines can delay healing and result in more hurt. “Breakup sex tends to delay the healing process and muddy the waters, so I generally would not recommend it. One of the biggest problems is that it can create confusion about whether the relationship is really over and can stir up false hope for one or both people,” Dr. Viviana Coles says. “It keeps people emotionally tied to someone they are trying to separate from. Real closure usually comes from honesty, boundaries, and acceptance rather than one last intimate experience.”

On the other hand, Dr. Carli Blau encourages people going through breakups to try sex one last time. "I tell people to have break up sex. Do it one last time," she says. "Dive in and feel it, so you never leave a relationship with questions unanswered."

So, breakup sex:  a great idea or major roadblock to closure? Well, it's purely circumstantial and entirely dependent on the person and the relationship, especially if one is trying to escape a toxic, unhealthy, or unsafe dynamic. It’s important in these circumstances to uphold your boundaries and remain as safe as possible. But two people who are just going through a regular, polite, run-of-the-mill breakup? That’s up to both parties involved.

For me, the hardest part of a breakup is coming to terms with the fact that I am now alone in that intimate way that only a romantic partner that you spend extended time with and who sees you at your rawest, can fill. Loss, in any form, is hard to move past—so can you really blame anyone trying to avoid that for as long as they can?

Spring has sprung, we're slowly but surely emerging from hibernation, and starting to shed some layers while we're at it (on the infrequent, sporadic, weather appropriate days, that is). Soon enough, we'll all be teasing a little bit of ankle. That's right: the capri trend is here to stay, and so many of our favorite designers co-signed the style's return on their Spring/Summer 2026 runways—some of our favorite celebrities have also taken the trend to the streets and demonstrated ways of styling them in the real world.

The trend was arguably originally popularized in the 1950s by film icon Audrey Hepburn, but the style was first created by designer Sonja de Lennart in 1948 and presented through her 'Capri Collection.' Named after the Italian island, Capri was a special place to de Lennart that represented joy, freedom, and a carefree Mediterranean energy. This is exactly what the capri pant style represents today: a casual, joyous, light, and free energy that only warm weather can truly bring out of us. I, for example, picture myself frolicking throughout Hudson Valley nature in a pair of capris.

Versace's Spring/Summer 2026 runway was all about '80s inspirations: color-blocked ensembles, high-waisted jeans, and fitted capris that hit directly below the knee in the boldest shades of green and purple.

Isabel Marant's Spring/Summer 2026 collection on the other hand, approached capris through a more bohemian and nomadic lens. The colors were neutral, the capris were a little longer (ankle grazing), and the silhouettes were slightly looser.

Ralph Lauren's Spring/Summer 2026 runway made a strong case for the elevated, dressed up capri—and this look has us taking notes. While the capri can be perceived as inherently casual, they can still be elevated and smart. On Ralph Lauren's runway, black trouser capris were paired with an oversized black button down shirt cinched by a useless belt, and woven peep-toe heels—the perfect balance between a casual boho aesthetic and business casual, arguably.

Proenza Schouler's Spring/Summer 2026 runway had us strongly considering styling capris for a spring or summer night out. The black capris themselves were statement makers with flared ruffle hems. They were styled under a black dress (the dress over pants trend is forever!) and with contrasting statement shoes. The runway references are truly endless with Maison Margiela, Carolina Herrera, Dries Van Noten, and more also including the style in their Spring/Summer 2026 collections.

Supermodels and it girls Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid have both served as inspiration on how to implement the capri trend into our everyday lives. Jenner's take on the trend was a bit more sporty chic, paired a cropped windbreaker-style jacket and heeled thong sandals. Hadid, on the other hand, styled the trend in more of an elevated bohemian manner—with a draped lacey top, bold jewelry, and a brown leather jacket.

While the capri was originally inspired by the casual and carefree attitude of the Italian island they were named after, celebrities and runways have made cases for the style for nearly all occasions—making them a no-brainer necessity for all of our rotations this season.

Jewelry is always a highly personal thing—heirlooms, pieces that carry sentimental value, pieces that carry personal history or belonging (see: nameplate necklaces). Trench coats had a big moment during the Spring/Summer 2026 season last year. Pack outfits that work from day to night, whether that's adding a jacket, layering with a bikini, or with a belt. The moment you leave your house, who knows when you will be back?

As I watch from afar as people that I once knew in high school tie the knot and scroll through the photos of fashion girl brides, I can't help but think: are veils getting shorter? While many of us might associate the traditional bride with a long, floor grazing veil—and occasionally those that pool into a train for the sake of extra extravagance and drama—the short veil has actually been a bridal trend throughout history. As with so many staples in fashion, the trend had practical origins: in the 1940s, both during war and post-war, fabric was difficult to get a hand on, shortages were widespread, and rationing was just simply necessary. While the trend didn't originate for the sake of appearing chic or fashionable, this was the norm—and so it carried over into the '50s and then the '60s. And yes, they're now back.

“We’re seeing a shift toward shorter veils as brides redefine tradition," fashion designer Monique Lhuillier says. "They feel fresh and offer a sense of ease while still capturing the romance that defines bridal fashion."

The shift back to shorter styles can be attributed to a few things: the rise in elopements and low-key weddings, more stock being put into embracing personal style, and just general practicality. "It’s a combination of practicality and style. Short veils are easier to handle and photograph, and they align with a more casual, modern vibe," Rebecca Glayzer, manager of creative merchandising at Poppy Flowers, says. "They also nod to the non-traditional 'anti-bride' style, which has become increasingly popular. Brides want something that reflects their personality rather than strictly following what we have seen before."

So what exactly constitutes a "short" veil? Short veils actually come in various sizes: the birdcage veil covers just the eyes, nose, and/or chin, the flyaway veil tends to graze the shoulders, the shoulder-length veil passes the shoulders a tiny bit and sometimes sits at the collarbone, the elbow-length veil hits the elbows and, the longest of the short, the finger-tip veil reaches, yes you guessed it, the finger-tips.

We've been closely following and endorsing everything non-traditional going on with wedding and bridal trends lately. Whether it be non-traditional engagement rings, low-key micro-weddings, or brides being set on wearing only vintage pieces for all wedding-related events, it has become more about personality than ever—which is exactly how it should be for what is arguably the biggest fashion event in a bride's life. "It’s less about rejecting tradition and more about personalizing it. Couples today are making choices that feel authentic to them, defining their own version of what it means to be a bride or groom," Glayzer says. "The concept of the “traditional bride” is evolving. Couples are creating a new tradition by embracing non-traditional elements that reflect their individual style."

It's also very much about reinterpreting classic pieces and revisiting old trends—it's like incorporating details from past eras without actually wearing vintage. An ode to fashion history and embracing the cyclical nature of trends, arguably. More fashion news announcements have come this week, as we all waited with bated breath to see who Courreges would tip as Nicholas Di Felice’s successor. The news came earlier this week on March 30, where the French house has announced that former Phoebe Philo protégé Drew Henry.

Henry will present his debut collection in September during Paris Fashion week, giving him ample run up time to become familiar with the house. The South-African born 38-year-old designer’s resume includes a host of leading brands including Céline, during Philo’s creative era, when he later reunited with her for the launch of her eponymous brand. He also served as the design director for ready-to-wear at JW Anderson and most recently, senior design director at Burberry under Daniel Lee.

Henry is a Central Saint Martins graduate, and though he is previously untested in a creative director role, I have high hopes that anyone who has trained under Philo will bring a fresh perspective to the house.

Mark Thomas Is Leaving Carven

Elsewhere in the never ending revolving door of designer shifts, Carven design director Mark Thomas is leaving the brand after one year at his post. In a press release, Thomas is reportedly leaving to “pursue other opportunities”, so we’ll look forward to seeing where he pops up next. He previously worked alongside Louise Trotter before she was tipped for the Bottega Veneta job.

Mentally, we're all at the beach—and in my mental picture we're doing nostalgic childhood activities: searching for seashells, building sandcastles, and freely frolicking without fear. This is evident through the rise of shell jewelry, the resurgence of the pearl necklace, and now the rise of the color aquamarine.

First thing's first, let's establish what exactly aquamarine is. Aquamarine ranges from a tropical ocean blue to a turquoise—essentially anything reminiscent of sea glass and sea water. “It’s going to become a lot messier before it becomes gorgeous,” professional organizer Briana Bazail warns me, holding a pile of my sweaters before placing them in a pile on the bed. I laugh nervously, eyeing the growing pile of tops, jeans, pants, and jackets that are slowly resembling a miniature mountain. I’ve never felt so exposed

Dealing with the herculean task that is organizing my overflowing closet has been something I’ve put off for longer than I care to admit. But after a move into my dream apartment in New York’s Greenwich Village—complete with a built-in walk-in closet space and a second bedroom that I immediately built out with Ikea Pax units—I knew it was finally time to attempt the organized, aesthetically-pleasing closet of my dreams. But after the Roadway movers swiftly packed up and dropped off my last box of clothes (and assembled my Pax units the next day—bless!), I stared at the empty shelves in panic. How was I supposed to decide where all my clothes (and shoes, and bags) would go? It was time to call on a professional.

Enter: Bazail, otherwise known online as the Reset Brunette, whose organizational prowess far exceeds my own. With a client list of time-starved New York City execs, fashion influencers and Greenwich moms with jaw-dropping Birkin collections, I knew Bazail was more than capable of the task. (She’s also kind and non-judgmental—two important traits you want from someone who’s seeing everything you’ve shoved into the deepest darkest corners of your closet.)

Two full days later, I stared into the perfectly-organized closet of my dreams. Every drawer had a purpose, every sweater was folded with military-like precision, and, most importantly, I knew exactly where every top, sock and shoe was. Call it the Marie Kondo effect, but having a well-organized closet has not only helped me get dressed easier in the morning, but also freed up my mental clutter. I’d even go as far to say that my style has improved, because I know exactly where to reach when I want to add an extra layer, or a pop of color. Last week, I came back from a trip and actually did the unthinkable: I unpacked immediately. As someone who usually leaves their suitcase in the hallway for at least a week before begrudgingly unpacking, this felt like proof that the closet refresh has indeed changed me on a visceral level.

Along our two-day journey together, Bazail shared some life-changing tips on closet organization that I’m still using to this day—I’m sharing them with you below.

1. Edit Your Closet

If there's one thing Bazail drilled into me over our two days together, it's that an organized closet is a constantly evolving one. Before we even touched a hanger, she had me confront the hard truth: I had been accumulating clothes (and shoes, and bags) without auditing for years. "The biggest mistake I see is not editing your wardrobe consistently," she says. "If you love fashion, you naturally love adding to your closet. But without regular edits, things very quickly become overwhelming." Her recommendation? A wardrobe “edit” every three to six months. "When you don't, you end up in this cycle where you're constantly bringing in new pieces, forgetting what you already own, and ultimately not wearing the items you actually love."

Since my closet reset, I’ve been holding myself to the one in, one out rule: every time I buy a new item of clothing, I put one item in my donation pile. So far, it’s holding me accountable.

Tip #3: Deal With Your "Maybes"

Deciding whether to keep or get rid of your “maybes” can be hard for some people who are emotionally attached to their things (me), or are the type to hold onto things they never wear “just in case” (also me). If you relate, try this: split everything you’re unsure about into everyday essentials, occasion pieces, and passed-over pieces. For everyday essentials, toss or donate anything that feels overly worn; keep the rest. For occasion pieces, be honest with yourself about how wearing each item makes you feel. Lastly, for passed-over pieces—the top you never seem to reach for, the shoes you tell yourself you’ll wear, but never do—be honest with yourself about the reason you never wear them. “I’m less interested in when you last wore something and more in why you didn’t choose it,” Bazail says. “If you keep skipping over it, there’s usually a reason, and it likely doesn’t fit your life the way it used to.” In other words: let it go.

Tip #5: Invest In Organizers

"The most chic spaces are actually the simplest," she told me. "It's less about adding more and more organizers, and more about creating a sense of uniformity." Her go-to upgrades? Matching thin felt hangers (which look chic and help save on space), consistent bins, and simple drawer dividers. "Those subtle upgrades instantly make a space feel more elevated and intentional."

Now that I’ve been living with my new closet for a few weeks, two things that have made the biggest difference are the drawer dividers and the bins. The drawer dividers allowed me to break up my larger drawers into different sections and give me more space—the key is to fold your tops and place them in vertically, like papers in a filing cabinet—while the bins are perfect for throwing things into when I’m short on time but don’t want to look at clutter.

But she was firm on one key point: "Too many organizers can actually make a space feel more cluttered, not less." When it comes to specifics, her foundational list is short: felt hangers, clipped hangers, pant hangers, drawer dividers, set hooks, a hat organizer, a sunglasses organizer, and a jewelry display.

Bazail recommends the below organizers:

Shoes and bottoms are two particular things I have in excess. I was concerned there wouldn’t be enough room for them, but Bazail proved me wrong with a few key tricks. For shoes, Bazail is a firm believer in going vertical. "Shoe stackers are great because they instantly double your storage without taking up more room," she explained, as we transformed what had been a ground-level shoe pile into a tidy, stacked display. For pants, instead of clipping them or folding, she flipped them over these non-slip hangers. Not only does it look satisfyingly organized, but it also gives you full visibility of every bottom you own.

When I was a freshman in college, I avoided spending the night with guys out of fear of how they would react in the morning when their rose colored (drunk) glasses came off. The fear was mostly in relation to my hair—at the time, I was chemically relaxing rather than embracing my curly coils. Despite this, after a night of sleeping with no bonnet or silk pillowcases, the curls and the frizz would make unwelcome appearances.

In retrospect, it's easy to conclude that I didn't real safe or secure within those relationships. At the time, I thought that was how I would always feel in my dynamics with men—overly concerned about how I look and how I'm perceived and terrified that, if anything natural about my appearance was revealed, they would immediately be overcome with disgust. Luckily, I grew out of that fear and, when I was in my happiest and healthiest relationship, I felt safe enough to start my natural hair journey by shaving my head, letting it grow out, and learning about my natural curl pattern for the first time in my life.

So, what is the curly hair theory? Essentially, this theory suggests that when a woman falls in love and feels secure in her relationship, her hair returns to its natural curly state. The flat irons go into retirement, the heat protection spray is no longer needed, and the curls thrive at their bounciest. While this might seem silly to some and some reactions have been in the realm of what's the big deal? It's just hair, this is a big deal for curly haired folks as we live in a society with Eurocentric beauty standards and "neat" preferences that has deemed our natural textures unruly, unprofessional and, at times, just generally unattractive.

While times have changed a bit, those feelings and insecurities can remain engrained—and, therefore, feeling secure enough to embrace your natural hair can feel like a major step. When I caught wind of the term "curly hair theory" being thrown around on TikTok, it immediately rung true to me—but in true Capricorn nature, I wasn't going to come without evidence to back up my claim.

Does being in love go beyond fully allowing one to relax into their most authentic and natural self? Well, maybe. According to both Fogelson and Dr. Viviana, the positive feelings that a good relationship brings to the surface—happiness, excitement, the absence of stress etc.—can lead to increased energy, a boosted immune system, and reduced blood pressure, all of which are great things for our physical appearance, hair included. "The 'glow' people talk about when in love is often what happens when your nervous system finally relaxes," Dr. Viviana says. Perhaps, the truth that we must reckon with is that being in love is the biggest beauty hack of all time.

We are technically in the Spring season, but the New York City weather gods are still having a blast playing games with us. We've been taking the seasonal confusion day by day, though, and soaking up as many 70 degrees that we're gifted—and manifesting through shopping for the weather that we dream of. March was a lot slower than the jam-packed fashion month of February and we haven't minded the opportunity to reset and regroup in preparation for what the rest of 2026 has to offer. This month, a lot of us had jewelry on our minds and seized the opportunities to upgrade our rotations. Shirley Chen is an actress living in Los Angeles. In her latest film SLANTED, she takes on her most intimate role yet, drawing from her own lived experience. Ahead, she reflects on the quiet, complicated evolution of her relationship with her immigrant parents.

SLANTED, to me, is defined by the language it has gifted me to encapsulate "I'm sorry," "I love you," and, more specifically, "I'm sorry for rage-Googling 'are you a bad daughter if you just don't like your parents as people.'" Phrases I fell short of throughout the full-throttle emotional whirlwind that is late-stage pubescence.

I sat next to my father at the SXSW premiere of SLANTED. A simple guy, his premiere fit was standard Asian Dad black-tie: a tan Calvin Klein hat from Costco, Polo Ralph Lauren button-up, a too-big gray blazer, and a pair of chinos—chosen because his original shorts were simply more casual than "business casual" implies.

In the opening scene of SLANTED, an elementary-aged version of my character, Joan Huang, sings "The Moon Represents My Heart" in the car with her father. Predictably, it is also a certified banger from the Chen father-daughter Carpool Karaoke rotation list. And just as Miss Teng—a Mandarin treasure as beloved as Whitney Houston or Adele for those unfamiliar—smoothly cooed "You ask me how deep my love for you is," my father leaned over to me and whispered, "I am so proud of you."

A year later, at the Los Angeles premiere, I sat next to my mother, who is markedly more hesitant to speak during movies. In one scene, my Joan—now an angsty 17-year-old—scarfs down her breakfast, and mumbles to her mother: “Speak English, Mom.” My mom chuckled. I’d forgotten I’d said that in real life to her. But I was mortified: if that rang true for my mother, then, categorically, I had been a bad daughter.

My parents crossed the ocean for me. Or, the promise of me. Via a now-defunct to-go packaging company that sold containers for other companies making food to-go, my father was given the opportunity to relocate his family—my father, mother, and older brother— to the US. Because of the One Child Policy, moving to America could materialize my mother's dream: a daughter. I stared enviously at the "fun" version of my mom in China: billowy pants with flowy sleeves, Blossom hats, neon blazer skirt sets that would have given Heather Chandler a run for her money. She and her friends posed in funny ways with odd architecture and pretended to strum guitars at picnics. She'd rock a pixie cut—androgynous before the word existed—that complemented her cheekbones. Her clothes were just as adventurous as her, and my humble dad, always beside her or behind the camera, boasted a sort of Gucci-model-type-of-handsome about him.

But in the US, priorities shifted: with a newborn baby girl and an eight-year-old son, my parents practiced function over fun. My mom couldn’t bring anything she might only wear once, so she ditched her fabulous sets and kept only items that were well-suited for East Coast cold. She wore turtlenecks and big-tshirts and grew her hair down to her hips—not by choice, but because she couldn’t speak English and was afraid of seeming dumb at the salon. All decisions were made so that I could chase a new promise: not just life, but a better life. When I was four, my mom truncated her time in dental school to raise me. When I was ten, my mom moved with me to Los Angeles to help me pursue acting. My parents worked tirelessly, lived separately, all to chase a life that promised glamor, and I didn’t make it easy— I lamented speaking Mandarin at home (I hated being corrected) and argued constantly.

When I was accepted to Harvard University, suddenly it all seemed worth it. My mom cried, soft-bragged on WeChat, and wished her father could have lived long enough to see me admitted. I became proof my parents were good parents. So I’d finally done it— my Good Daughter Debt paid back in full, with interest. The American prophecy fulfilled: the legacy of individual sacrifices, risked on the condition of a promise for a better life for the next person. But when I graduated, the degree felt less like a personal feat and more like a relational bartering tool— a shorthand to signal intelligence, drive, and competence to strangers without my having to prove it. I started to feel real pressure, internalized, to live up to the idea of what I was supposed to be.

For those rocky years after graduation, I felt a dissonance between my dreams and what my dreams represented to others. A conversation with my friend Molly shook me. She asked, “Isn't the fact that you were born already the achievement of your mom’s American dream?” It reminds me of one of my favorite lines from SLANTED: paraphrased, we become our own American. In the face of noise about what it means to have achieved—belonging, success— our existence uninhibited is enough. During filming, my dad visited the set and handed water to the crew. He rode Lime scooters with me across the Beltline and got to take pictures with Wu Jun Mei, an idol to him known in the States as Vivian Wu (my on-screen mother.) I got to include a real photo of myself, my mother, and my father in Joan’s living room. After my mom watched the movie, my mom opened up about something she’d never shared: she could relate to my character because, in China, she felt pressured to have big eyes, fair skin, a high nose. SLANTED gave words to a period of self-hatred that, through watching, I see my mom understand; I see an honesty in her I otherwise never would have gained access to. And for me, SLANTED is an opportunity to laugh about a time of my life that I try to forget.

Our SLANTED billboard is now on Sunset Boulevard, the strip I’d wait on in bumper-to-bumper traffic with my mother after an audition on the west side that only went okay. When I booked my first series regular role this year, my mom, inspired by my dream fulfilled, went back to dental school. My mom and dad have long ditched their fabulous nerd-chic looks for hygienist scrubs and earplugs and factory bouffant caps, but to celebrate SLANTED, my parents dusted off their finest and played dress-up. My mom, who has since amassed a shoebox collection full of funky heels she will only maybe wear, got to finally break-out a pair of red kitten heels—her own version of Louboutins—to our premiere. I get to see their dreams realized, through me. In our family group chat, I think my mom summarized the point of SLANTED best when she responded to an AI-generated version of the poster: “meaningless if it doesn’t look like daughter.”

For the neck, I focused on the front, sides, and sometimes the nape, spending about 15 to 20 minutes total in the evening when my skin was ready to wind down with tea and my birding book.

Barbie Ferreira has been busier than any of us even know. Coming off an appearance on the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway and on the Oscars red carpet in cobalt blue and with two movies coming out in April, Ferreira has already been booked and busy and committed to ticking all the boxes. And now, a limited capsule collection with For Your Soul, a Los Angles-based lifestyle brand designing clothes that are equal parts comfy and cute and promotes intentional living, feels like a collaboration that was meant to be for Ferreira, a self certified two piece set connoisseur.

The capsule collection features hoodie and sweatpants sets in distinct colors and with checkered patchwork stars placed in various spots, as well as coordinated tank tops. Each piece is individually died so no two pieces are identical, but they all have this in common: they guarantee that the wearer will present as put together while being at their utmost coziest.

In celebration of this collaboration, we sat down with Ferreira to get the lowdown on her relationships with astrology and manifestation, what's on her latest grocery list, and how, in true For Your Soul fashion, she slows down.

What's your star sign and do you relate?

"I'm a Sagittarius. My rising is Aries and my moon is Aquarius. And I absolutely relate. What's funny is that my mom and I have the same big three, but in different placements, so I definitely feel connected to it."

What's the most Sagittarius thing about you?

"Oh gosh, probably my personality in general. I'm extremely free-spirited. I'm independent. I'm very passionate about stuff. We tend to be people who get really caught up in moral journeys and whatnot, so I definitely relate to that."

What three words best describe how you're feeling right now?

"I feel grounded, I feel excited, and I feel decaffeinated. I need a coffee."

What color is your aura?

"Probably green. A really cool green. There's so many shades of green. Maybe a jewel tone kind of forest green. It's my favorite color but I don't know if that means anything in the aura world."

Do you believe in manifestation?

"Yes, 110%."

What are you manifesting for the rest of 2025?

"I'm just manifesting good health. I'm manifesting just continuing on with the love in my life and everyone being healthy and happy."

What are the last three things you wrote in your Notes app?

"I actually have a list of four coming of age movies that I really love because I was asked by Letterboxd. And I have two groceries lists."

Can you share what's on your grocery lists?

"One is short rib, tomato paste, red wine, carrot, celery, white onion, herbs, potato—Yukon Gold, heavy cream, butter, figs, macaroni. The other one is chicken wings, butter, and crystal hot sauce."

How would you describe your personal style?

"For most of my life, I've been experimenting so much and I feel really embodied in my own style right now. And I think it would probably be office siren meets contemporary, older sister vibe. Someone told me that, so I was like, okay, cool."

How do you think your personal style connects to your sense of identity?

"It's everything to me. I've always expressed myself through my outfits. Since I was a kid, I've always been someone who loves a costume so much so that my outfits are my favorite part of the day. And I think that really intertwines with my love for acting. I just feel like putting on something makes me feel like a different person."

What do you love about For Your Soul and its message?

"What I love about For Your Soul is, first of all, I'm addicted to matching sets. I wear matching sets every single day, so I really wanted to bring the things that I feel the coziest in into my life. I love how fun and cozy and soft everything is."

How did this partnership come about?

"It came about a couple months ago, and I was really, really excited because they were so open to collaboration and creative input. I'm always excited to work with people that I love and having a fun time instead of something mechanical. For Your Soul was very from the soul one could say."

How would you describe this collaboration?

"Everything fell into place really quickly and perfectly. It felt like a day of fun. We played a lot of music. We listened to a lot of Rihanna. Andy was there who I've worked with before. It was just a really fun day. I had my stylist there, as well as my hair and makeup."

Do you have a favorite piece from the collection and why?

"I think my favorite piece is probably the pink set. Just because I love that shade of pink and it reminds me of bubblegum."

How do you slow down during your off time?

"I watch a movie or I'll watch a really shitty reality show. I love to cook, as you could see from my Notes app. So that really centers me. My whole family, they're all chefs, so it's a very culinary family. It feels very familial and cool to cook, so I love doing that. I love hanging out with my friends and just laying low at home. I'm a homebody."

What's your favorite reality show?

"My favorite reality show, this may surprise people, but I actually love watching Alone or survival shows, but I also love watching 90 Day Fiancé. I'm an out of the box reality show kind of girl. I'll watch Milf Manner or something that's a little bit more out there. If it's not the most popular thing out there, I'm tuning in."

Do you have a fashion hot take?

"I think the trends have just been too big. I just hate trends. I feel like you have to create your own thing that's cool or else it's lame."

What's your favorite place to shop?

"I love The RealReal. I love going vintage shopping a lot. I love newer designers too, but for shopping, I love vintage shopping."

How would you describe your relationship to beauty and self-care?

"I'm Brazilian. So for my whole life, I felt like beauty and taking care of yourself was a big part of loving yourself and being in tune with your body. So beauty, I've had obviously a very complicated relationship with all sorts of things, being a woman, as we all do. So I think for me, my relationship is just making sure everything's healthy and working right and not squeaking. Making sure all of my engines are working."

What do you have coming up for the rest of 2026?

"I have two movies coming up, April 10th and April 17th. We got Faces to Death. We got Mile End Kicks, both in theaters. We got a whole bunch of fun stuff around that, so that's the main thing."

Can you describe your perfect day?

"My perfect day: I wake up early. I go to Pilates. I go to the infrared sauna after. I then get my favorite coffee from Blue Bottle. It's a sunny day in LA. I come home, I hang out by the pool with my animals. I hang out with my friends. We laugh. We have a great time. That's my perfect day."

For Matthieu Blazy’s sophomore Chanel ready-to-wear show last month, Lady Gaga’s Just Dance rang out through the Grand Palais show space not once, but twice throughout the presentation. From what could be seen of the front row, celebrities bopped in their seats and mouthed the lyrics as models marched in their finale line. This is often the case with the music at a Chanel show. Long has the house been recognized for having a deep relationship to music and to sound. There was Florence Welch performing in the seashell during Karl Lagerfeld’s tenure, Sébastian Tellier at a white grand piano while Virginie Viard was at the helm. The man behind these musical acts, and almost all of the show tracks since the early ‘90s, is Michel Gaubert.

As fashion’s leading sound director, Gaubert’s client list can readily be found to include the most prolific fashion houses of today–Christian Dior, Valentino, Loewe, Fendi, J.W. Anderson, Maison Margiela, to name a few–but his 30-year collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld is decidedly one of the most impressive elements of his oeuvre.

During this time, Gaubert was responsible for the the eighty-piece orchestra at Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2011 show, he produced the sound for Fendi’s famous show on the Great Wall of China, and oversaw the production of the 140-person band for Chanel’s 2016 cruise show at Paseo del Prado, in Havana, Cuba. Now, the Paris-based producer joins our Zoom call from his Paris apartment, one week after another busy show season, where he now works with industry golden child Matthieu Blazy at Chanel, alongside Blazy’s previous Bottega Veneta collaborator, Fabien Leclercq of Le Motel.

For someone who is an industry titan, one might expect a personality that takes themselves more seriously than Gaubert does. Instead, Gaubert is equal measures warm and conversational. For anyone who follows him on Instagram, this is hinted at through his humorous and almost meme-like posting style. Much like how he feels about Chanel, which Gaubert describes as “witty,” the same is reflected back in his own demeanor. Perhaps this is why this creative collaboration has transcended so many decades.

Ahead, get to know the prolific fashion sound director.

Your recent show track for Chanel went a bit viral because of the Lady Gaga inclusion. Tell me about what made you decide on Just Dance for Fall/Winter '26.

MG: “Matthieu made me decide on Lady Gaga. It was his idea to do Lady Gaga. That was not what was planned from the beginning. And maybe all of a sudden, a week before, he said, 'Oh my God, I really feel this track.' And then we decided to include her.”

Can you tell me a little bit about what has changed in terms of working with the house and working with Karl and Virginie, and now working with Matthieu Blazy?

MG: “I started to work with Karl in 1991, and then I did nonstop. So I guess we built the musical decorum of Chanel all along these years. And then after Karl passed away, I continued with Virginie. And I knew Matthieu before also because I had been working with Raf Simons. I worked with him at Calvin Klein, and at Margiela, and then he [Blazy] went to Milan, to Bottega. And at Bottega, he worked with this musician called Le Motel. And when Matthew came to Chanel, he decided to have the best of both worlds. So we've been collaborating together since Matthew arrived at Chanel, which is wonderful because it's giving a different dynamic. And the meeting of both our styles and vision makes something that's different.

It still sounds quite Chanel because Chanel has always had a certain element of fun.”

There's levity.

MG: “Yes. Also, Matthieu gets it. The set design, the collection, he's witty, he has humor, but that's also something to me that's very Chanel because [Coco] Chanel was very witty. She was extremely witty as a person. She always had the word to say about everything. And Karl was one of the wittiest people I've ever met and very funny. So, Chanel was always this thing of being elegant and witty. It's life. Chanel is life. It's not trying to be... I don't know. She revolutionized fashion for sure. She brought a lot of things, but it's not maybe so intellectual. You know what I mean? Because it doesn't need to be.”

What was the most unforgettable thing Karl taught you?

MG: “Karl was a teacher in a way because I saw him like some kind of father figure in a way. But what I liked about Karl, he loved to share. He would go into his office and everyone would be there together at the same time, sharing ideas, talking about everything. He would be very expressive and always ask me what I thought of something. He was not a dictator, not at all.

It was very important for him to get the feedback from people he was working with and asking what to do, what they would think. And what I liked also with Karl is that he would tell you, 'I would like the music to be blue or red or Italian,' whatever. But that was just a guideline, he was expecting you to give him your idea of what that could be.

It was not like, 'I want this exactly.' And that was the same for everything. It was the same for clothes, for fabric, for shows, for everything. And it makes you feel very much at ease. One of the first times that I worked with him, I brought him something that was not so readable.

It was a bunch of patchwork of samples. And I said, 'I'm sorry it's maybe not so clear for you.' He said, 'Oh, don't worry. We are working together. You bring me what you want.' You know what I mean? It was always nice, always cool.

And also with Karl, the sky was the limit. I'm not talking budgets or anything like that, but whatever it took to get to where I wanted to, that would be done. And that was quite crazy.”

What do you listen to in the mornings?

MG: “Oh my God, let me go to my Spotify because I'm a Spotify person…Well, today I was listening to an old track of a guy called Labi Siffre. I don't know if you know him. It was playing in the TV show I was watching and I forgot about that track and I thought, my God, that's so beautiful.

Is it Cannock Chase?

MG: “Yes.”

I was listening to it this weekend when I was moving house.

MG: “Oh, you were? Well, I was not feeling so good. I had to stay home, so I just watched TV. But I like that track. That popped into my mind. I like the new Kim Gordon album, it's very different. There's one track called Girl With A Look that I really like. I like Rosalía, of course, but it's not really a morning thing. Maybe I would listen to Sauvignon Blanc in the morning because that's your hangover or something, so you need a little dose of wine. I listen to Caterina Barbieri also because I think she's an amazing artist. Wow. Also, I like very much a guy that we play, a musician that we played in the last ready-to-wear show. His name is Emile Mosseri. He's more like an instrumentalist and he does soundtracks, and we used a track of his in the show, and I think his music is very beautiful. That's a real good morning music record, I think.”

What’s the strangest thing that you've included in a show track?

MG: “Nothing is strange really, it depends what you make with it. Things become strange in regards to what's happening on the runway or what you're showing or maybe the way you shock people or whatever, but nothing is strange. Whales…I don't know, any animal sounds or maybe the last show, Fabien from Le Motel included construction site sounds. It's kind of strange, but it's not because in the end, it makes sense.

How do you want people to feel when they listen to your music at shows?

MG: “I want people to feel an emotion. Whether you feel joyful, sad, pensive, or you're wondering about something, or it has to make you react in some way. And also, I like people to feel like they're on a journey because to me, music is so visual, especially at a fashion show. Okay, you see the clothes, you see the collection, you see the set, you see the whole thing, and music adds another layer of narration. And if you're not into some of the other things, the music can hold you, can be like a little bed on which you feel comfortable and it touches your memories. And this is what we want to do a lot of times is turn on the collective memory, you know what I mean? So it makes you feel something and brings you to a place that maybe you forgot about. And Matthieu likes to do that too with people from his generation, that's why he likes Oasis and Rhythm Is A Dancer and the soundtrack to Dawson's Creek, these kind of things.”

It brings you back to a moment.

MG: “Exactly. It brings back a moment because that always works on people because it helps you understand something. It's showing also the reference that music might be an easier reference to grab onto than actual clothing.”

Are there any designers who are more connected to that sentiment than others? Are there some who prioritize the music more or are more involved?

MG: “Willy Chavaria, and he is very, very music oriented. His music language is the same as his clothes' language. It's really part of him, and you cannot separate the two. And Vaquera also. I love Vaquera because it's very much their own world, and we do this patchwork of things of random memories of things they're about, and we put them together, we clash them completely, and we do it with such energy that when you see the show, it's like, 'Wow, that's a trip.' You know what I mean? And that goes very much into also their language which is important.

Also, it's like when I started in the '90s, music was a bit more abstract because not everyone had such a great musical culture, but things have changed in such a way that music has become... It's like everything. Music is readily available and you have access, so people use it as a tool. Everyone does a Spotify or they go to songs they listen to all the time, whether it's to chill, to go to the gym, to be driving, to be crying, or to do their own runway in their own house. People cultivate this private garden in a way, and it's way different.”

Do you have a favorite or a most memorable show?

MG: “Yeah, I often talk about this one because it's a show we did for Chanel in Cuba in 2016. Karl told me, 'We're going to show in Cuba and you need to go to Cuba because there's no set design in Cuba. The set is the music, so it's all going to be about the music,' because they did the show outside on the street.

So I went to Cuba with my partner, Ryan, and when we spent maybe a short week in January and we were casting musicians and bands and it was quite mind-blowing. I mean, we saw a bit of everything, but we went to people's houses in the courtyards and the fields to see them play. And then we cast them and then we came back for the show. And in the end, we hired 140 musicians to play, and the human experience working with those people in Cuba, it was so gratifying.

They were so happy, ready to give everything they had to make it sound and look good It transpired in the show because at the end of the show, we had 40 drummers coming down the runway with all the girls and playing some kind of drum beats like this. Every single person in the audience got up and danced on the runway with the models, and I'd never seen that before. So that was very moving because it was the sharing of emotions. It was very nice.”

Do you make playlists for your friends?

MG: “Yes, of course, I do.”

What is one song that makes it on frequently?

MG: “It’s hard to say because most people, when I do a playlist for them, they want something more that they wouldn't expect. So someone's getting a birthday or a wedding or there's always a bit of sleaze or something. It depends what I make it for basically.

Is there one song that’s a go-to for people who are in love?

MG: “Yeah, I would play a bit soft porn, erotic music from the '70s, from Ennio Morricone or that movie with Catherine Deneuve called Donkey Skin because the music is very princess-like, very... I would play this kind of thing. Let me check what I do have here…Oh, I will try to find maybe some odd version of a famous song, like even a Donna Summer or something. I don't know. It could be anything really. But yeah, I'm trying to play people that think what people wouldn't expect to hear or that would maybe surprise them.

Spring has officially arrived after what felt like an endless, bitter winter in NYC. With warmer weather means we can finally revisit many of the trends we saw on the Spring/Summer 2026 runways last season, and plan our wardrobes for the forthcoming season.

This Spring, there are plenty of trends we’ll be incorporating into our rotations for the warmer months. On the runways from New York to Paris, Chartreuse proved it will be the colour of the season, showing up everywhere from Tibi and Simone Rocha to Balenciaga and Saint Laurent. Styling tricks like tie waists appeared via Ferragamo, Chloé and Isabel Marant, while bras worn as tops were popular in Milan at Prada and Jil Sander.

For outerwear, it was all about funnel neck jackets and suede bombers, adding a sense of lightness for our layering pieces instead of the heavy coats we’ve been swathed in since November, showing up at Altuzarra, Coach, Miu Miu and Alaïa.

Chartreuse was arguably the biggest color trend on the Spring/Summer 2026 runways, and for Spring, we’re already seeing it populate IRL. From silk chartreuse at Simone Rocha to weightless nylon at Saint Laurent, this acidic hue has already been dubbed a wedding theme color for 2026 brides, and we’re sure we’ll see it go further than that this Spring.

While there were plenty of examples during the Spring/Summer 2026 season for tie waists (see: Ferragamo, Isabel Marant, Chloé and Dior), the suggestion of a tie at the waist carries over from last Spring, where we were seeing an influx of silk scarves tied around waists to create dimension and texture in a simple look. This season, ties get elevated with fringe trims, interpreted in leather, and incorporated into garments as Jonathan Anderson did at Dior for added volume.

Perhaps the biggest outerwear trend this Spring is the funnel neck jacket. Initially popularized on the Spring/Summer 2026 runways, finding a funnel neck jacket is no hard task thanks to the virality of the silhouette in past months. Peplum hasn’t had such a big moment in the trend cycle since the early 2010s, and for Spring, the waist-shrinking silhouette is back and feeling more contemporary than ever. We’re anticipating bras as tops being a focal point of Spring dressing as soon as it becomes warm enough to wear the trend. This season is all about shoulders. Designers showed off shoulders in every way possible: through fully strapless dresses, shirts and knits that fell off a single exposed shoulder, and tops that revealed both. We took note of crochet’s revival throughout Copenhagen Fashion Week in the form of cold weather accessories. Madeline Argy and I are sitting on her sun-soaked patio in the Hollywood Hills when all of a sudden she freezes. “Oh hell no,” she says, staring at her hand. “What happened?!” I ask, alarmed. “A shit…a bird shit,” she says. I peer at her hand and sure enough: a squiggly sliver of white goo, plopped in the middle of skin between her thumb and pointer finger. “I mean…maybe it’s a good omen?” I offer. She agrees, though slightly dubious, and launches into a story about the last time this happened—at Glastonbury, where a bird managed to land its excrement perfectly inside the cutout of her black tank top. Moments before, a celebrity had slid into her DMs, though she won't say who. "I was like, 'I don't know what this means, but it means something,'" she says.

Not that Argy needs the luck. Ever since launching her TikTok account in March 2021, she’s grown to be one of the most obsessively-followed creators on the app, with over eight million followers invested in her daily life. Most of them also tune into her podcast, Pretty Lonesome, each week for her unfiltered advice on rage-baiting men, what to do when you feel unlovable, and dealing with betrayal. Her niche is, essentially, that she doesn't have one: a quick scroll through her TikTok yields a video of her crying over Jane Goodall, lip-syncing to Zara Larsson, and reporting live from the front row at Louis Vuitton's FW26 show in Paris. Her closet has as much range as her feed, though she feels most "herself" in the outfit she's wearing during our interview: a white The Row tank and loose, baggy jeans. Argy shops almost exclusively secondhand—a devout ThredUp loyalist, with the occasional RealReal detour—and the results are genuinely surprising: her closet features rows and rows of candy-hued Chanel bags, a lilypad-green Hermès, vintage tanks, and an entire rack solely for denim. She bought her first pair of heels two days ago. They're brown, and from Depop.

In person, Madeline is quieter at first (though that may have something to do with what she did the night before: attending Charli XCX's premiere for The Moment and ending up at an unnamed after party). She shows me around her airy home and closet, dutifully putting on her different looks and hitting her angles like a pro. It’s not until we wrap shooting and migrate to her patio that I catch a glimpse of the “online Madeline": a melted-down coffee in hand, sitting cross-legged, she rattles off stories from her childhood in West Sussex with the disarming openness she's known for. (A few days later, she'll post a TikTok announcing that she's moving to New York. The bird, for what it's worth, called it.)

Below, Argy takes us inside her closet and opens up about her style philosophy, the breakup that led to her most-treasured pair of Chanel boots, and why she will defend the backpack until her last breath.

"[My style] is always expressing whatever it is I'm feeling. I'm definitely not an abstract dresser."

On her cheetah backpack: "It's one of my favorite things. It makes me feel very maternal. His name is Chef.”

"The first nice few pieces you get—there's nothing like that."

"When I go to a red carpet or a fashion week party, I'll usually wear whatever the brand has given me, which is usually a heel, but I don't end up owning that heel."

"Most of my closet is actually from ThredUp. I'll do a big order because you can get so much stuff for no money. I remember I told my friend she laughed and she was like, ‘I didn't know anyone used that. I thought it was a YouTube advert.’"

"Actually, when I was 17, they didn't ship to England. They used to only ship to the US and Canada. And I was so upset because I had put so much stuff in my [cart] and then I got to shipping and they didn't ship to me. I sent them an email and was like, ‘Will you please consider expanding your shipping? I'll pay extra.’ They never got back to me. But now they ship to the UK, and my first ever paid brand deal back in 2022 was with them.”

The fashion musical chairs, exits, debuts, and new creative director announcements may never end, but that’s okay, because at least we can talk about it on Fashion Bulletin. This week it was announced that Nicolas Di Felice is leaving Courrèges after a five year stint at the French house. The move not only leaves a space open at Courrèges (Dario Vitale, tap in please!!), which will reportedly be announced next week, but spurs rumors that Di Felice is up for the Alaïa job in the wake of Pieter Mullier’s exit for Versace.

Di Felice’s swan song for the brand took place during Paris fashion week this past Fall/Winter 2026 season, where the show was dedicated to “24 hours in the life of a Courrèges woman.” It was there that De Felice celebrated five years at the house, where he quickly became beloved for his sleek tailoring and body-focused party dresses.

“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the [Artemis] group and especially to François Pinault and François-Henri Pinault for their trust,” Di Felice said in a statement that cited his exit to “focus on personal projects.”

Di Felice’s space-age designs felt apt for a house like Courrèges, whose codes have always carried a sci-fi edge. Learning from Nicolas Ghesquière, where he worked as a designer at both Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton, and Raf Simons at Christian Dior. Next week, we will be able to chat through his successor at the house.

Christopher Kane Named Creative Director At Mulberry

Brits, rejoice! Christopher Kane is making a triumphant return to fashion at the helm of beloved English brand Mulberry. The designer, who regrettably closed his eponymous brand in 2023, left somewhat of a hole in the British fashion community (and the world) in his absence, but now that hole is being filled up with Mulberry bags and whatever else he has in store for the heritage brand.

Reportedly, Kane is working on a collection that will debut during London fashion week in September of this year, marking not only his return to the runway, but Mulberry’s return to both ready-to-wear and the runway. The brand hosted its last runway show almost a decade ago in 2017.

Kane, while known for unexpected silhouettes that offer a great deal of levity, has long proven his ability to ground his own collections in everyday wear, which is a pillar of the Mulberry brand. Shearlings, sweaters, good coats— Kane’s oeuvre proves that he can do it all in spades. We may even get the brand resurgence Mulberry has so desperately needed!

eBay Launches “The NYC Edit”

On Wednesday night in Noho, I descended the stairs of Jean’s at 6:30pm (unheard of) to celebrate the launch of eBay’s NYC Edit, an editorial guide highlighting what style insiders in New York are buying and selling on eBay. As the IYKYK destination for shopping rare archival pieces online, eBay brought together 10 of the cities tastemakers—Dara Allen, Emilia Petrarca, and Owen Thiele, to name a few— to curate a guide of what they are both shopping and selling on eBay, with an IRL clothes swap at the event to trade something old for something new (to you).

Gucci Launches Hot New “Beauty And The Bag” Campaign

For Demna’s Fall/Winter 2026 Gucci runway debut in Milan last month, the Georgian designer sent Kate Moss and Emily Ratajkowski onto the runway in embellished rhinestone dresses. You might know Laura Harrier as an actress known for her roles in Spider-Man: Homecoming, BlacKkKlansman, and Holllywood, or as a fashion icon constantly making best dressed lists (the dramatic suiting by Zac Posen for GapStudio at last year's Met Gala, anyone?). Her style is both elevated and effortless, and she looks just as comfortable on a red carpet as she does in a simple tank. In fact, that's her go-to uniform right now. "I've been living in a pair of black baggy trousers with a tank top, a sweater, an open button down shirt, or a trench," she says. "My spring outfit formula is always a variation on that." It's no surprise that STAUD and Amex Gold would tap her to front their new campaign and short film (Harrier counts STAUD founder, Sarah Staudinger, a friend and called the collaboration "easy and chic").

When she's not working on one of many projects, Harrier, like many of us, loves spending her time shopping. "I love Scout for vintage, Mohawk, and Squaresville is a good low-key vintage store. I usually do vintage in LA," she says. You can also find her protecting her peace while wearing eye patches pulled straight out of the fridge ,or seeking out adventure in true Aries spirit. "I'm an Aries sun, Scorpio rising, Taurus moon. I am very Aries in that I'm direct and can be a bit spicy, but I think I'm a bit grounded by the other aspects in my chart, hopefully," she says. "The Aries in me pushes me to always explore."

Despite her jam-packed schedule—which includes four forthcoming films—Harrier finds calmness where she can, whether that be through lounging while reading her Kindle or traveling with friends. For the rest of the year, she's manifesting more connection, with both those already close to her and new people that cross her path.

We caught up with Laura Harrier in the midst of a LA heatwave and asked her to share her open tabs, from what she's shopping to the last book she ordered.

Hulu's Love Story had girls far and wide flocking to C.O. Bigelow, a pharmacy in Manhattan's Greenwich Village, with hopes of obtaining the now iconic, '90s plastic tortoise shell headband that CBK frequently wore. This is only one example of fashion and cultural influence that the show has had. Despite Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy being a longstanding fashion icon, the show has a whole new generation of women seeking out oval sunglasses, low-key engagement rings, roll-neck sweaters, camel colored coats and skirts, and now headbands, too. But what if we told you that 2026 being the year of the headband was established before Love Story premiered? And that CBK isn't the only contributor to the trend?

Most recently, Miu Miu's Fall/Winter 2026 show featured models in zig zag headbands popularized in '90s and early 2000's. These headbands were black and made out of thin metal in a zig zag formation and pushed the hair back in a subtle and nostalgic way.

In Behind The Seams, writer Marie Lodi explores the intersection of fashion and film, spotlighting the iconic style moments that shaped cinema and the never-before-heard stories behind them.

There's a specific alchemy when a group of women comes together in a close, intimate friendship. It can be the most transformative force in the world. It can also be the most consuming. In the new film, Forbidden Fruits, the girls who work at Free Eden—a high-end, trendy boutique in a Dallas mall (clearly a nod to Free People)—are the ones everyone else secretly wants to be. But whether it's as magical on the inside as it looks from the outside, is another question entirely.

During the day, the four women, Apple (Lili Reinhart), Fig (Alexandra Shipp), Cherry (Victoria Pedretti), and new hire Pumpkin (Lola Tung), peddle overpriced clothing to unsuspecting shoppers bewitched by their questionable sales tactics. By night, the women gather after hours in the store's dressing area as a coven they call "Paradise." There, they perform the kind of magic described as "the mundane shit that you would have been executed for in Salem." But this isn't The Craft so much as it's Mean Girls with some Jennifer's Body thrown in (Diablo Cody is a producer of the film). While the girls most certainly look the part, they use a bejeweled cowboy boot as a cauldron, summon Marilyn Monroe instead of Manon, and their spell incantations are something you wouldn't find in any grimoire. (Chant with me: "Goat's milk, thigh gaps, rose petals, bone cast, truffle oil, bitch slap, blood clots, juice prep.")

Witchy-meets-mall baddie is a specific vibe, and it had to be both things at once, ritualistic and retail-ready. Costume designer Sarah Millman didn't just dress the Fruits—she conjured them through moodboards comprising thousands of images from her personal archive and Toronto's Reference Library, while using director Meredith Alloway's visual deck as a jumping-off point. "I looked at the classics, like Mean Girls, which we shot at the exact same mall. The Craft, Jennifer's Body, Jawbreaker, Heathers… and spent time rewatching just to get into the world," she says. From there, each Fruit got her own visual universe, with about 20-30 costume changes each.

For HWIC Apple, the north star was early Lana Del Rey and her penchant for accessible glam. "There's this interesting high-low there that she engages in, and we wanted that for Apple," says Millman. Another inspiration was '90s Rose McGowan, and a color story that leaned into deep reds and blacks to complement Apple's red hair. One of Millman's favorite Apple looks was a rubber bondage top with a super-low, plunging neckline that she wore with capris and heels, stomping through the mall. "To me, that look feels like the absolute embodiment of her character," says Millman. "True literal bondage. She is a dom. She is the baddest bitch."

Reinhart brought items from her own closet, including the blue apple-print Coperni knit set she wears in the film's opening scene, an asymmetric Jaded London tee that says "My Ex Loves Me," a pair of Miu Miu ballerina heels, and a Miu Miu crystal choker. "She brought a lot of little pieces, but that one I loved so much because it's like, Apple's just signaling," explains Millman. "She needs this mask for the world of designer [fashion]. She makes like $19 an hour. How is she getting this Miu Miu choker? She's stealing it or trolling The RealReal or whatever. But those kinds of fashion signifiers were important to her costuming since she's trying to make a smoke screen for what her actual life is."

New girl Pumpkin was earthier, more tomboy— ‘90s Devon Aoki energy with a girl-next-door sweetness that's hiding a more complex interior. Her hero piece is a red heart necklace from the LA jewelry brand Gemini Jewels, which she never takes off once she enters the Free Eden world. (You may have seen the same necklace on Olivia Rodrigo.) "The heart necklace is a hearkening back to her core family," Millman explains. "It's sort of like wearing her heart on her sleeve—or at her throat." For one look, Pumpkin pairs a vintage Missoni sweater with an American Eagle pleated acid wash skirt and charm-adorned sneakers. "She had her hair in braids. I just thought she looked very innocent and sweet, but also of the coven," says Millman. As for the red gingham dress Pumpkin wears during her Free Eden makeover, fans of The Summer I Turned Pretty will find it very familiar. However, Millman won't confirm a thing. "I will not confirm or deny if that's referencing anything, anyone, anybody," she says, with a sly smile. "But there's some stuff there."

Cherry went in a completely different direction. Early references included Anna Nicole Smith and Brigitte Bardot, before the fitting room steered things toward Cicciolina, the Hungarian-Italian parliamentarian and former adult star who was married to Jeff Koons in the '80s and '90s. In one scene, Cherry wears a magenta bustier, a massive scrunchie, and sweatpants with a rolled-down waistband and cherries down the sides. "It really reminded me of a Manet painting—Nana, or Olympia, or the bar maiden in A Bar at the Folies-Bergère. Just this courtesan, painterly... but mall." In the fitting room, Pedretti kept pulling the corset tighter, wanting the softest parts of her body on full display. "That was so thrilling for me," says Millman. "She was embracing and highlighting, being like, fuck yeah—she's leaning into the softness in that moment. And I just love a rolled-down sweatpant."

Fig was the mall goth, with "slightly nerdy layers" to show off her scientist's instinct. "She's not using the gaze and her body in the same way as Cherry and Apple," explains Millman. References ran from Aaliyah and FKA Twigs to Fairuza Balk. During fittings, Shipp would survey the rack, say "hear me out," and proceed to layer a dress, a bustier, a long sleeve, a coat, a belt, an anklet, and approximately "700 necklaces." Meanwhile, Pickle, a former Free Eden employee played by Emma Chamberlain, embodied the store's style most of all. "Pickle was really like a Texas ray of sunshine… she's the most sort of mall boho, just like earnestly into mall culture," says Millman. "She wore Uggs, and she has a progression where the Uggs needed to reflect the journey she'd been on, and at one point, Meredith was like, there should be a hole where the big toe is. So, we really put those Uggs through the wringer."

Millman's sourcing operation was a full-time job in itself—she wrote to over 100 brands to see if anyone would lend pieces to the production. Of those 100-plus cold emails, around 20 said yes. American Eagle came on as a sponsor, supplying all the denim in the film, and tanks and basics. Reformation sent a significant haul, while Agent Provocateur supplied bustiers and lingerie moments, and Susan Alexandra did the custom beaded bracelets that each Fruit wears. The bags the girls carry were largely vintage—Y2K purses, thrift finds, and a couple of Juicy Couture pieces thrown in for fun. No major it-bags. "I did a ton of thrift shopping on this movie," she says. (Hot tip: If you want to channel your own witchy vibe, jewelry brand Awe Inspired just released its Forbidden Fruits collab.)

And then there was Rodarte—the white whale. Millman says Alloway, a former journalist who had once interviewed the Mulleavy sisters, mentioned Rodarte at their first meeting. She ended up reaching out directly, and the designers agreed to send over some dresses. They're seen during the first Paradise, where the girls initiate Pumpkin into the coven. Apple wears a plunging red dress with black bows at the shoulders, Cherry is in a peach ruffled satin dress, and Fig wears a long, lacy black gown. "We truly fell off our chairs," she says. "We just couldn't believe our luck."

Millman hid more than a few secrets in the wardrobe, and they're fun to spot. The most satisfying Easter egg is the t-shirt Apple wears towards the end of the film, printed with the words "Of the woman came the beginning of sin and through her we all die," which is the name of Lily Houghton's play that Forbidden Fruits is based on. The scene was originally scripted with the girls in slip dresses since they would look good wet, but the look morphed into a t-shirt and sweatpants. "How soggy that would be, coming out of the water and sopping," says Millman. "Just like the weight of being a woman." From there, the challenge was figuring out exactly what the graphic would be. After the first AD suggested a slogan tee, Alloway proposed using the play's name. Perfecting the typography took months and dozens of iterations before a graphic designer friend of Millman's finalized it while dialing in from an airplane. "Super simple is often the hardest thing to do," Millman says. "And she just, in two seconds, did the font. I was like, That's the damn t-shirt."

Other IYKYK details include the day-of-the-week underwear, hand-embroidered and custom-made, that all four girls apparently wore under their costumes throughout the film. We see Cherry's in a key scene, but they all have them. "It speaks to the relationship between Apple and Cherry, and Apple's control over Cherry," Millman explains. "She wears them to keep herself on track. To keep herself under Apple's thumb, right down to your underwear, right down to what we can't even see." In another scene, Cherry wears a white sundress with blue flowers, but Pedretti had pulled up the skirt in places, creating an almost bustle-like shape. They loved it, and then asked, how would she actually do this? "Cherry is the kind of person who would be bored on the sales floor and take the tagging gun—the thing they do the price tags with—and she would have done that to her own dress," says Millman.

This is what it looks like when a costume department is truly in it—when the details go all the way down, right to the underwear nobody sees. "It was the most collaborative film I've ever worked on," says Millman. And in Forbidden Fruits, that kind of devotion has a name. They call it a coven.

After the inspiration overload that was this past fashion month, we have 2026 color trends on our minds. And yes, despite the Pantone color of the year essentially being the most standard shade of white imaginable, 2026 is all about color, unexpected variations, and surprising pairings. The 2026 Oscars red carpet gave us a lavender moment and a pink and red pairing. Between that, Teyana Taylor making a case for green leather, and Alexander Skarsgård making a case for purple (and sequins!), our perspectives on color have been constantly expanding—and I have been taking notes of ways to ease my way out of my almost entirely black rotation and have fun with fashion in the coming seasons.

Spring has arrived! There were moments this winter in NYC where it felt as though we’d never see the day, but alas, slowly the rigid blanket of cold is lifting off of our shoulders and being replaced with a trench instead of a puffer. Thank god. As far as footwear goes, I much prefer a summer shoe. I have no issue slinging a flip flop on the NYC subway system, nor walking 10,000 steps in my Tabi ballet flats. I may be in the city, but I want my dogs to feel free! I want to feel the wind between my toes.

On the Spring/Summer runways last September, the footwear options were endless, and now that they are finally dropping in store, we’re officially excited for our upcoming shoe wardrobes for the season. Ahead, are the biggest Spring/Summer show trends for 2026

Ultra-pointy pumps were a fixture on the Spring/Summer runways this year. Most notably at Saint Laurent, where Anthony Vacarello sent the exact same shoe out with every single look, only varying colours and fabrications. All of them were sky high stiletto pumps with an elongated, severely pointed toe. Elsewhere, Pierpaolo Piccioli’s debut Balenciaga collection featured pointed toe court shoes, and Maximillian Davis’ Ferragamo featured a series of patent leather mules.

Preppiness is back thanks to the likes of Michael Rider, who offered a Spring/Summer Celine collection that was filled with just that, including little white leather lace up shoes perfect for Spring. Jil Sander’s Simone Bellotti had a similar stroke of genius, fusing a kind of vintage Prada sport silhouette with a traditional Oxford shoe for something a little more laid back, while Prada went for a classic patent leather Oxford.

While more of a trend during the recent Fall/Winter 2026 shows, a water shoe theme emerged amongst designers, namely Simone Bellotti and Miuccia Prada. At Jil Sander’s Fall/Winter 2026 show, satin and leather water style shoes appeared on the runway. Over at Miu Miu, Mrs Prada brought the bubble soles from her 1999 collections back in the form of slip-on leather water shoes. At Loewe, it was a little more rain shoe than water shoe, as heeled clear court shoes came down the runway. If you’re looking for a sportier option this Spring, consider the water shoe!

The Spring/Summer season was one of plenty of fun amidst the court shoes and brogues, as demonstrated by Sean McGirr at McQueen, who resurrected Lee McQueen’s famous Spring 2003 rosary strappy sandals with a horn heel, while over at Chanel, Matthieu Blazy sent a series of pony hair slingbacks down the runway. At Jonathan Anderson’s Dior debut, the Irish designer offered up a series of satin mules with twisted rosettes at the toe, all pointing towards a surge towards fun footwear.

It was the season of the coloured boot on the Spring/Summer 2026 runways. At Courréges, a pair of blue sock boots intercepted the otherwise fairly neutral collection, and at Hermes, mustard yellow suede riding boots came out every few exits, while at the Fall/Winter shows this past month, we saw embellished yellow boots from Prada, and electric blue suede options from Acne Studios. ‘Tis the season for a brightly coloured boot!
