Fashion Bulletin: Dispatch From Paris Fashion Week
All the fashion news you may have missed this week.

We are on the final stretch of fashion month. I am back from Milan, and our Editor-in-Chief, Faith Xue, is diligently sending dispatches from the ground in Paris. Two of the biggest talking points this week before: Jonathan Anderson’s banger of a Dior show, which opened the week with triumphant reception in a very “everything he touches is gold” kind of way. Then Pieter Mulier held his final show for Alaïa, which was classic and fundamental and simply beautiful. My favorite moment was Raf Simons climbing onto his show seat to give Mulier—his long-time right hand—a proper send off, and then chasing him down after his bow to give him a hug. I melted!
Jack McCollough And Lazaro Hernandez Show Sophomore Loewe Collection

It was Loewe day today, and Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s second collection for the Spanish house, which the Proenza Schouler design duo inherited from Jonathan Anderson. For Fall/Winter 2026, we saw moments of repetition from their debut. There were vibrant neoprene coats reminiscent of their polly-pocket dresses from last season, layered anoraks and punchy-hued blazers too. The duo increased their dialogue with proportion; coats featured inflated collars that acted like ultra-protective scarves, strapless dresses were draped, casually across the body and finished with fur necklines, voluminous textured mini skirts featured tail-like trains. I especially liked the accessories offering this season. There were square leather business bags that were left open and heeled water shoes. One great shoe was an update to the brands flat-soled tennis sneaker, now offered as a laceless version is suede and satin. It does still vaguely feel as though the boys are yet to truly hit their stride at Loewe, but in the meantime, there are plenty of wearable pieces I am enjoying.
Daniel Roseberry Sends Literal Kitten Heels Down The Runway At Schiaparelli

Daniel Roseberry has been flirting with some very literal animal motifs for both couture and ready-to-wear for some seasons now, and Fall/Winter was no different. There are always a few items in a Schiaparelli collection that really feel as though they defy expectations. This season it was a pair of “kitten” heels, faux taxidermy cat heads secured onto the toe of pointed mules. Elsewhere, a fur clutch with gold fingers that made it appear as though you were holding a hand, a leather shoulder bag whose strap was a gold peacock head, and hoop earrings with lifelike snails perched on them. Roseberry is finding his way when it comes to distinguishing his RTW from couture. There were slinky jersey dresses and some very good three-piece suits that gave away his time at Thom Browne, also many-a good coat—big fur trimmed ones and sleek evening jackets. It’s always a good runway when Roseberry is running the show.
Bhavitha Mandava Is Named Chanel Ambassador

Back in September for Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel debut, Bhavitha Mandava went viral on Instagram and TikTok for her emotional backstage video at the show. Then, she opened Blazy’s Metiers d’Art show in New York in December, becoming the first Indian model to ever open a Chanel show. Now, Chanel has announced her as the latest ambassador for the maison. “Since we met, Bhavitha has never ceased to amaze me. Smart, down-to-earth, she emanates a sense of deep joy. We are happy she will be part of this chapter with us at Chanel,” Blazy said in a statement. The NYU student and model had previously worked with Blazy during his tenure at Bottega Veneta, Mandava told us in an interview following her Chanel debut. The news cements her not only as a muse of the house, but as a model on a meteoric rise.
