This weekend, we were all taken by surprise when we got word that the internet’s favorite couple tied the knot—and there was photographic evidence, too. If you swooned at the sight of Dua Lipa and Callum Turner ascending from their legal wedding ceremony at London's Old Marylebone Town Hall and simultaneously thought her outfit looks familiar, you're not alone. Lipa's wedding day look was a custom pale blue skirt suit by Schiaparelli and designed by Daniel Roseberry. The look featured a sculpted blush bustier underneath, a skirt with an asymmetric hem, and antique-inspired buttons along the suit jacket, reminiscent of a 1971 Bianca Jagger tying the knot in Saint Tropez, France, to Mick Jagger.
Back then, Jagger too went the custom route, but with a Yves Saint Laurent suit in her case. She wore a white YSL Le Smoking jacket without a top underneath and a white column skirt. Neither Lipa’s nor Jagger’s looks would’ve been complete without the statement making accessory that tied everything together: a dramatic floppy wide-brimmed hat.

From jumpsuits to pantsuits to skirt suits, there are options for every type of bride—and we wouldn't be surprised if we saw a slew of brides in cinched suit jackets and floppy hats in the coming months and years.

But, we have a strong feeling that this isn't the end of the ceremonies and celebrations—and, in turn, not the end for the much needed bridal and fashion inspiration that Lipa is guaranteed to serve. Perhaps there is even another reference in the works.
