In Keeping Tabs, the world's most stylish people share their search history and current open tabs—what they're searching, saving, reading, and buying for your reading (and shopping) pleasure.
With a penchant for Tom Ford for Gucci or Margiela for Hermes, photographer Diana Bartlett's style walks the line between masculine (or "boyish", in her words) and feminine. Having recently moved to Paris from New York City, the Chinese-American photographer finds that she takes a dressier approach in Paris, versus when she was living in New York. "I’m almost always in cocktail attire at night—the setting and atmosphere just call for it,” she says. “And if I’m not doing that, I’m really casual showing up in a hoodie and jeans. I don’t believe in in-betweens, for anything, really.”
Through Bartlett's lens, her subjects possess a sense of ease—a feeling that’s also reflected in her own wardrobe. Filled with vintage Levis, CHANEL ballet flats, and many-a-good coats, Bartlett's meditation on classic staples with a personal, bohemian-leaning twist has made her one to watch.
From lace Saint Laurent camisoles to books on monogamy, we asked Bartlett to share what's inspiring her this summer. Keep scrolling to see Diana Bartlett's open tabs.
