All the fashion news you missed this week.

Dev Hynes For Valentino, Robyn's New Single & A Very British Monument

One of my claims to fame is my coining of the term/trend “Frazzled Englishwoman” back when I worked at RUSSH Magazine. Well, a frazzled Englishwoman monument was just erected in London, with a Bridget Jones brass statue in Leicester Square. Clearly, this cements the fictional patron-saint of frazzled Englishwomen in London’s cultural lexicon forever more. Enough with the colonizer monuments— let’s increase monuments of iconic rom-com leading ladies up by at least 50 percent. Kate Winslet and Kiera Knighteley can be next! Renée Zellweger naturally attended its unveiling in an extremely chic ensemble, complete with white Louboutin pumps, reminding us that she is not British, nor frazzled.

Now, onto all the fashion news of the week.

Louis Vuitton Is Coming To NYC For Cruise

Over in NYC, Nicholas Ghesquière is gearing up for another destination Cruise show, which Louis Vuitton has announced will take place in our home turf of New York on May 20, 2026. Six years ago the creative director brought the storied French house to JFK for Louis Vuitton’s 2020 Cruise show, and it will be interesting to see how his ideas of the city have evolved since then. Knowing he’s always one to put on a monumental destination show for Cruise, we’ll be sat in May for Ghesquière’s return to the Big Apple.

Diesel Unveils Pre-Fall 2026

Diesel

Diesel

Say cheese! Glenn Martens has unveiled Diesel’s Pre Fall 2026 collection with a campaign that’s all smiles. Whether it’s just for Fall or for real, Martens appears to be growing the brand up a little, with a slightly more modest offering this season. The focal point? Big belts. Thick, double eyelet belts were secured at the waists of plenty of looks, creating a through line within the collection. Elsewhere, hems were longer, more refined, and there were some excellent jacket options. If Martens’ intention is to capture the attention of those outside of the Gen Z demographic, consider this a success.

Acne Studios Throws A Party With Robyn

Acne Studios

In honor of her latest single, “Dopamine,” Acne Studios teamed up with Spotify this week to host pop icon Robyn with a live performance in Los Angeles.. Robyn has always been that girl when it comes to pop songs, and her long-term friendship with Acne studios as two Swedish icons makes total sense. Attendees included Sky Ferreira, Kyle MacLachlan, and Miranda July. Dream blunt rotation?

Dev Hynes Stars In His First Valentino Campaign

Valentino

Valentino is on a celebrity campaign spree at the moment (which feels true to Alessandro Michele’s nature as a music and Hollywood lover), and Dev Hynes is the latest to star in his very own Valentino campaign. Hynes and Michele go way back, so the choice to include the Blood Orange musician and composer in the brand’s latest Cruise campaign is no surprise, and Valentino has recently released a series of BTS images of the two queening out on set. Love that for them!

Jil Sander Teams Up With Moncler

Jil Sander

‘Tis the season for a colossal Moncler collaboration, and this year, Jil Sander has stepped up to the podium. For their debut collaboration, the duo offers a series of perfect winter staples, from refined puffer jackets to sleek wool coats and cotton twill bombers, emphasizing natural fibers as a nod to Jil Sander’s refined design codes. A personal favorite is the textured wool skirt that feels polar-bear adjacent—perfect for the NYC winter.
