It's not untrue that Miuccia Prada is often ahead of the trend cycle. Most of the time, she's creating or bringing back trends before her peers, and this Spring, the Matriarch of Miu Miu has done it again.

Back in October of 2024, Mrs. Prada's Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2025 collection featured a series of low, open toe clogs in suede and patent leather, in varying colors and layered over tiny little Miu Miu branded open-toe socks. Naturally, the shoe silhouette went viral, and come the Spring/Summer 2026 shows, clogs officially re-entered the trend cycle on the runways of Bottega Veneta, Simone Rocha, Zimmermann, and Versace.

The '70s-inspired shoe has been a mainstay silhouette at Chemena Kamali's Chloé, too, as a key pillar of the bohemian uniform. But as many know, a clog's origin is in 13th-century dutch farmers, where they were first introduced as a work shoe. Now, clogs work for our wardrobes mostly, and following a brief resurgence last year, the wooden-soled sandal is having a renaissance with the Spring season.

Co-signed by Chloé girls like Daisy Edgar-Jones and Alexa Chung, you might be a heeled flip flop girl, or a clog girl. Perhaps you're both! Ahead, shop our favorite clogs of the season.
