It's technically still summer, but as of a few weeks ago, my skin has been acting like we're in the thick of fall: it's duller, drier, and lacking the glow that I mastered this summer. So, on a quest to restore my dew, I turned to Korean beauty brand Centellian24. Owned by South Korean Pharmaceutical company Dongkook Pharmaceutical, the brand is backed by the brightest and most experienced of K-beauty minds—including those who created the well-known Korean topical wound-care product Madecassol. This is all to say that, for me at least, there is already a built-in trust with the brand—and, because of their background, I trust their products to soothe and hydrate my skin.

I was most intrigued by the brand's Madeca Cream Time Reverse because of the bold claims of its name and its TikTok popularity, but the reviews and the way the product flies off the shelves with over 100 million units sold worldwide sort of speak for themselves. So, was this the product that would single-handedly restore my glow? And, hopefully, maintain my glow throughout the fall and winter?

Ahead, my honest review of Centellian24's Madeca Cream Time Reverse.

The Product:

With active-TECA (Titrated Extract of Centella Asiatica), a concentrated version of the staple K-beauty ingredient, as the hero ingredient, the Madeca Cream Time Reverse is on a mission to soothe, deeply hydrate, firm the skin, support the barrier, support anti-aging, and, the promise most intriguing to me, restore radiance. Also included in the formula are niacinamide to regulate sebum production and target hyperpigmentation, and a small amount of retinol to target fine lines.

My Skin:

I've learned, as of late, that my skin can be a bit unproductive. It is generally dry—and that is a constant. But as of late, I've been dealing with some redness and irritation, breakouts, and itchy irritation, and hyperpigmentation as a result of said breakouts. More than anything, though, is that my dry skin, which I had managed to make dewy all summer, was starting to look dull. So, my skincare goals were quite simple: to reclaim my glow.

The Results:

The consistency of the cream is thick, but it's easy to spread on the skin and doesn't feel overly heavy or greasy. Upon first use, I was in awe at the glossy finish that it left behind—a temporary glow as I work towards a more permanent, consistent, lit from within because my skin is happy and hydrated type of glow. As I worked towards my skin goals, I committed to using this product consistently.

It didn't take very long for me to notice my breakouts reducing, scars fading, and pores appearing tighter. But it was two weeks into testing the products that I really felt like I reached the peak of results: my skin was naturally glowy, smooth, and, dare I say, looked a bit airbrushed.

Worth It?

While some other consumers have voiced concerns about the price ($30.98 ), which is, to be fair, a little pricey in the grand scheme of K-beauty, I think it's worth it simply due to the quality and results.

TL;DR

Centellian24's viral Madeca Cream Time Reverse promises to support anti-aging while also protecting the skin barrier, hydrating, and restoring a natural glow to the skin. I'm happy to share that they deliver on their promises. I tried the product for two weeks and, although the product immediately leaves a glossy glow behind, I felt like a natural glow was restored to my generally dry skin.
