So summer slowly creeped up on me. And now this weekend marks the unofficial start to the season: longer nights, summer Fridays, a total wardrobe and beauty routine refresh. Suddenly everything I wear on my body and face just feels heavy. Even though I’m now dealing with another set of problems than I did in the winter (it’s “dewy” until it’s just plain old sweaty!), I prefer it. The key is good cleansers, lighter moisturizers, and bumping up my SPF. Here are my top six picks to keep this face healthy through the heat of the season.

Milky Piggy Hell-Pore Clean Up Mask: Growing up playing tennis, I would always get random blackheads on my nose from sweat, the sun, and other outside factors. I actually got this beauty trick from my former coach. I do a weekly pore mask just to make sure I’m really removing all the bad stuff. I’ll apply a thick layer of this mask and then let it dry for 15 minutes before you peel it off. I only do it around my rose, but you can do it wherever you’re noticing larger pores and uncomfortable redness.
