Mid January means one thing for the fashion crowd: the beginning of over two months of fashion mania as we collectively gear up for Men's Week in Milan and Paris, followed by Haute Couture week, which will lead into NYFW and the rest of the fashion circuit until early March.

Men's week starts in tandem with Pitti Uomo in Milan before moving over to Paris from today onwards. Personally, I often get the bulk of my menswear styling inspiration—for my own wardrobe and for shoots—from Men's week. As fashion becomes a more androgynous exercise, pulling from menswear silhouettes feels key to a contemporary wardrobe.

Highlights so far have included Prada in Milan, which is always a treat, and this season it feels as though everything was very Raf coded even more than most of the menswear collections since Simons was appointed co-creative director. Ralph Lauren also popped up in Milan this season, presenting the brands third menswear runway show this century and combining Purple Label with POLO to display the diversity of the RL man. It worked here, and definitely felt like a cohesive, contemporary offering of the Ralph Lauren universe.

DSquared was very ski-forward, and was opened by "Heated Rivalry"s Hudson Williams which of course was cause for a viral moment. There were certainly some fun looks here. As far as what we're looking forward to: Louis Vuitton is tonight, where Pharrell will show Fall 2026 menswear in Paris, followed by Jonathan Anderson's sophomore men's collection for Dior tomorrow.

This season, prep meets streetwear meets evening wear. We're seeing a lot of ties back on the runway, often layered with bomber jackets or casual coats to offset bowties and black-tie garb. I loved the men's ballet flats at Ralph Lauren layered with socks and western accessory motifs in classic RL style. Over at Prada, the silhouette was much more streamlined and slim, taking us back to Raf's early 2000s look with scoop neck knitwear and skinny pants.

Below, are all of the looks from the Fall 2026 menswear shows we've been loving so far.

I love this traditional black tie look styled back with a classic varsity jacket shape to make things feel a little cooler.

A perfect example of a suit and tie made current with a slouchy bomber. It's not likely I will move on from this combination soon.

A classically Italian look that feels synonymous with the codes of Giorgio Armani. I love the triple layered leather element and the combination of browns, blacks, and greys in one look.

Prada

One thing Raf Simons is always going to deliver is a sensual men's option, and this pinafore cotton vest layered with a knitted tank is the perfect example of this in practice.

Another silhouette that feels quintessentially Raf is the slender cashmere pullover. This season, Simons and Miuccia Prada skillfully layered it with the sleeves of dress shirts poking out, adding a dimensional element that speaks to Prada's identity of highly wearable clothing.

A hero in this collection was the surplus of narrowly cut, single and double breasted coats in wool and leather. Here, an inky black (or is it deep aubergine?) leather coat is layered over a mustard pullover with mint green striped shirt cuffs poking out of the sleeves, offering a color combination that scratches an itch I didn't know I had.
