We’ve all seen the paparazzi photos: Greta Gerwig’s Barbie is already a cultural phenomenon and we're still more than a year away from its release. Combine the aesthetic touch of a trendy, talented young director, the nostalgic power of a toy fashion icon, and the color pink, and you have infinite outfit inspiration commonly referred to these days as Barbiecore.

In a decision informed by strong feminist values, my mother never allowed me to have Barbies, despite numerous attempts to convince her otherwise with tearful appeals, infallible reasoning, and desperate bargaining. In hindsight, I appreciate her sentiment and resolve, but I will be taking this Barbie movie as an opportunity for latent wish-fulfillment. After all, I already dye my dark brown hair platinum blonde. I don’t plan on dressing like Barbie every day, but she has become a strong style influence. Below, the pieces a modern Barbie would wear that you can emulate in your own wardrobe, based on the Internet’s recent favorite de facto mood board.

Candi Dress

Pink obviously reigns supreme in the Barbie wardrobe, and this bubblegum shade puts a fun twist on a classic summer staple: the cotton maxi dress. Pair it with sandals and hit the beach or the market.

LNA Clothing
$138

Twisted-Wrap Knitted Mini Skirt

This Jacquemus set is exactly what Barbie would wear to the country club or to cheer on her sister Stacie at a basketball game.

Jacquemus
$316 $158

Baccara Linen Jumpsuit in Pink

This jumpsuit is the breezy, wearable version of Margot Robbie's cowgirl get-up.

Sleeper
$240

Ruched Patchwork Mini Dress

Sometimes Barbie needs to unwind over a glass of chilled natural wine and small plates with her girlfriends, so she throws on a cute lettuce-hem dress and texts her friends her color scheme so they can match.

Sherris
$304

Graphic-Print Beach Skirt

Barbie wouldn’t be caught dead at the beach in one of Ken’s old tees. She’s wearing a bikini with a coverup cute enough to post on Instagram.

Oceanus
$224

Enzo Mesh Bikini Bottoms

Speaking of the beach, the print and cut of this bikini screams "Malibu Barbie."

Frankies Bikinis
$90

Paneled Denim Mini Skirt

This Ganni skirt might skew more Polly Pocket than Barbie, but there’s something very '90s toy about this colorblocking. It reminds me of getting Dippin' Dots at the mall and ogling the plastic heels at the Disney store.

Ganni
$255 $153

Contrast Pleat Tennis Skirt

I don’t play tennis, but this skirt might convince me to start. I love this one because the little pops of pink will flash as you move—whether you're maneuvering around the court or finding a spot to put your picnic blanket at the park.

Eleven by Venus Williams
$88

Mama Earrings

I don’t know if Barbie has her ears pierced, but if she did she would be into these.

Dans Les Rues Srls
$199

Pink Blasvegas 120mm Heeled Sandals

Since her anatomy only allows her to wear heels, these holographic platform shoes are a pretty great choice.

Giuseppe Zanotti
$875 $508

Wool-Blend Blazer

For more formal office events, Barbie needs a few suit sets. This powder blue blazer and skirt combination is the perfect set to look sharp without sacrificing personal style—think Olivia Rodrigo at the White House.

Sergio Hudson
$1,325
