“I like to visit Richardson a lot; that's one of my favorite stores. My friend Venus X just opened a store called Planet X in Bushwick that is fantastic. But living on Roosevelt Island is basically living on the Upper East Side, and it has my taste all askew. I honestly am going in Bendel’s and The Frick more than my normal downtown haunts. I hang out in Central Park a lot. I love going to the ‘Ladies Pavilion’ to see the hundreds of wild snapping turtles. I like going in the puppy store on Lexington and looking at headbands on Madison Ave. My studio is in the Tribeca/West Village area, so I eat at Sweetgreen and Buvette all the time. I love Sadelle's for fancy bagels. My favorite nighttime place has become The Blond as of this summer. It feels like I go all up and down Manhattan every day.”
