We are in the midst of the Cannes 78th annual film festival, and despite a rocky landing in the French Riviera in the wardrobe department, Alexander Skarsgård is still having all the fun.
Arriving in Cannes for the premiere of his new BDSM film, Pillion, the actor emerged for The Phoenician Scheme red carpeton Sunday eveningclad in a classic suit and thigh-high leather boots from Saint Laurent's Men's Fall/Winter 2025 show (look 34, to be exact).

His film, Pillion, sees Skarsgård play the leader of a queer motorbike club who falls into a BDSM relationship wherein he is the dom. Earlier that day, Skarsgård set the tone for his leather-clad looks at the Pillion premiere in tight leather pants, motorcycle boots, and a white baby tee. Method dressing!

Inside the premiere, during the seven-minute standing ovation the film reportedly received, the actor was spotted hugging some kink fans in pup hoods and kissing Pedro Pascal, who happened to wear look 19 from the same Saint Laurent Men's collection back in March for The Last Of Us season 2 premiere, complete with the same thigh-high boots.
While the internet is divided about the boots, we're just glad at least some men are having fun on the red carpet!
