online fashion museum exhibits
Yes, were hunkering down, but that doesnt mean we cant still do some of the things we love most. Luckily, many activities like concerts, performances, and museums are now available to stream online. More specifically, the Google Arts and Culture page is offering free access to thousands of museums around the world, so you can now click through international exhibits from the comfort of your home. If you’re as sartorially inclined as we are, you’ll soon discover that the fashion exhibits can be tough to locate. So we thought we’d round up a few that we’ve been loving.

Although many of the fashion exhibits we were so looking forward to this year have been postponed, they have posted their standing collections or exhibits that you may have missed. Couldn’t get to the Commes Des Garcons exhibit at the Met? It’s available on their page. You can also study the background of designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Oscar de la Renta or Cristobal Balenciaga. Why not take this extra time spent indoors to brush up on your fashion history knowledge?

SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion and Film
The Savannah College of Art and Design’s fashion museum explores fashion as a medium of communication throughout history and in film. You can view their standing exhibit alongside one on your classic LBD and the history of the one and only Oscar de la Renta.
