This past weekend, creative director and stylist extraordinaire Soki Mak jetted off to Budapest’s Spring/Summer 2020 Fashion Week. Between taking in the shows and fashions, Mak made visits to a few of the city’s must-see attractions.

“This was my first time in Budapest, and I was really impressed by how picturesque it was. There was a real sense of glamour to the city, [and] the entire city [is filled] of characters who are extremely friendly. A really impressive group of fashion faces from the likes of editors of Vogue Hong Kong, Arabia, Ukraine, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, and Diet Prada [were there] covering the event. Around 80100 of us from all over the world attended the Budapest Central European Fashion Week (BCEFW) supporting new and local talent. In between shows, the Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency made sure everyone enjoyed the best things to do in Budapest. This revolved around eating the most delicious food, seeing the iconic architecture, and, of course, trying out the famous baths. [It’s] a city that likes to eat and loves to drink. Your money goes a really long way if you can figure out how to work out how much the currency conversion is!”
