ouai launched two new body products
Perennially cool hair-care brand Ouai is dipping its toes into the body-care waters with two brand-new launches: Body Cleanser and Body Crème. Founder Jen Atkin has already scaled the hair market since launching her brand in early 2016 by creating bathroom-shelf staples like the Dry Foam Shampoo and Wave Spray. The line has previously toyed with body products with their Rose Hair & Body Oil and limited-edition After Sun Body Soother, but Atkin clearly has her sights set on curating the rest of your self-care routine.

As she told InStyle, “We know from Instagram polls and reviews that a majority of people are actually using [Rose Hair & Body Oil and After Sun Body Soother] on their bodies, so we already have some winners in the body category. We want to expand into new categories thoughtfully and make sure that we’re delivering our signature scents, packaging, and effective products along with what our community says they want and need.”

Both the cleanser and cream are formulated for all skin types, with nourishing ingredients like jojoba seed and rosehip oils in the cleanser and antioxidant-rich cupuaçu butter, coconut oil, and squalane in the cream. The brand worked with Swiss fragrance house Givaudan to formulate the scents of both products, which lean citrusy but are balanced by warm rose and violet. If they follow in the footsteps of Atkin’s previous products, they’re sure to be cult favorites in no time.

Ouai’s Body Cleanser retails for $28, the Body Crème for $38, and both are available now on theouai.com and sephora.com.
