What better way to signal fall’s official arrival than with a beauty-product shopping trip? There are a ton of exciting new launches to choose from, from an ultra-potent over-the-counter retinol serum to our favorite piece from Victoria Beckham’s debut makeup collection (hint: it’s signature to Posh Spice). And glitter—LOTS of glitter. Because when you’re heading into Halloween season, you need to have a few options in your arsenal, right? Right! All that and more are included in our 32 best beauty launches for September. Check them out below.

M.A.C. Studio Fix Soft Matte Foundation Stick, $31

There have been too many times to count that we have caught our reflection halfway through the day, noticing we desperately need to touch-up. Rather than carrying around a jar of foundation, this M.A.C. foundation stick makes application easy and portable. Plus, there is no potential of spillage either.

HoliFrog Tashmoo Water Lily Nourishing Milky Wash, $38

Beauty industry veteran Emily Parr was fed up with the cleanser options on the market that left her skin stripped and irritated. So she decided to create her own line of gentle yet highly effective cleansers to fit every situation—situational cleansing, she calls it. The Milky Wash is our favorite for its calming effect on the skin.

Davines Restless Circle Hair Mask, $10

If your hair is suffering from breakage and you need an effective moisturizing mask, look no further than this new release from Davines. Antioxidant-rich chia seeds help increase hair density and improve elasticity, so breakage is a thing of the past.

La Prairie Skin Caviar Eye Lift, $480

Lack of sleep plus mountains of stress means that your eye area is probably in need of a little love, especially for your lifting and firming concerns. La Prairie’s new serum targets the entire eye area, including the brows, with the caviar premier and cellular complex to deliver a boost of energy right down to your skin cells. Crow’s-feet will be softened and puffiness minimized to the point that an admittedly pricey serum is rendered entirely worth it.

Sigma Liquid Lipsticks, $20

When you want long wear plus hydration out of your lip product, this Sigma lipstick is the way to go. The satin matte finish never leaves your lips cracked or dry, but the color still lasts from coffee to cocktails.

Marc Jacobs See-Quins Glam Glitter Eyeshadow, $28

Ever catch yourself in the mirror after applying an eyeshadow and straight-up gasp? That’s how we felt after applying this sparkly new release from Marc Jacobs. The color payoff is excellent, and the fallout is minimal—aka the perfect glitter combo.

Lord Jones Stiletto Cream, $70

If, like us, you have sacrificed the comfort of your feet for the sake of fashion, you might be interested in Lord Jones’ new Stiletto Cream in partnership with luxury shoe brand Tamara Mellon. This CBD-infused foot cream contains all the goodies to nourish your feet—including cocoa butter, shea butter, and olive oil—and is the perfect pre-game for a day of high heels.

Amika Strobe Hair Contour Kit, $50

Feel like changing up your hair color, but don’t have time to make it to the salon (or would rather not commit)? Amika’s temporary color spray in three different shades—light, medium, and dark—are ideal for a quick ombre session or just giving your roots a boost between appointments.

Paula’s Choice Super Hydrate Overnight Mask, $34

Your skin does the bulk of its self-repair at night, when cortisol levels drop and collagen production increases. That’s why we love this overnight mask to help boost hydration and get our complexions looking as glow-y as possible.

UZ 7 Shades of Black Eye Opening Liner, $16

We first spotted this liner backstage at the 3.1 Phillip Lim show when Diane Kendall gave models a graphic eye look. UZ developed a staggering seven different shades of black (some with more reddish undertones, some with more green) to truly tailor your cat eye. Try a few together—you can really spot the difference!

Christophe Robin Anti-Frizz Rescue Milk with Shea Butter, $35

This clean, fragrance- and silicone-free formula douses your hair with moisture courtesy of African shea butter and moringa extract. Any scalp irritation is soothed, and the hair cuticle is sealed to eliminate frizz, all without making your hair feel greasy or weighed down.

Zo Skin Health Firming Serum, $235

From dermatologist Dr. Zein Obagi, this serum utilizes a proprietary plant stem-cell complex to provide skin with antioxidant protection and a biomimetic tetrapeptide to increase firmness and overall skin health.

JinSoon Koi, $18

The perfect orange-and-coral hybrid polish doesn’t exist…until now. You’ll catch us rocking this beyond-dreamy shade all autumn long.

Lorac Lux Diamond Metallic Creme Eyeshadow, $22

Who doesn’t want to wear *literal* diamonds on their face? Milled diamonds give this creamy shadow formula an unparalleled glimmer that refuses to crease. We recommend blending with your finger to warm up the formula.

(Malin+Goetz) x KITH Body Lotion, $35

If you want to smell like you just stepped into a Bath & Body Works (if you know, you know), may we recommend the body lotion from the new Malin+Goetz and Kith collab. The scent is light and citrusy, plus it contains vitamin B5 and essential fatty acids to keep your skin smooth and glowing, even after the temperature drops.

Benefit Brow Styler, $34

This 2-in-1 brow product contains both a wax pencil and powder formula so you can fill and shape your brows to perfection. It’s also totally waterproof and is easy to build up to a Saturday-night dramatic brow look, or keep it light for a no-makeup makeup effect.

Olay Retinol 24 Night Serum, $29

If you haven’t started incorporating a retinol into your skin-care routine, it’s time to start. Whether you’re treating acne, fine lines, or dullness, this powerful over-the-counter serum delivers a blend of B3 and retinol complex into your skin for 24 hours. Wake up glow-y with nary a dark spot in sight.

Haus Labs Glam Attack Liquid Shimmer Powder, $20

We’d expect nothing less than copious amounts of glitter from Lady Gaga, which is why our favorite product from her debut makeup collection is the Liquid Shimmer Powder. The emerald-green shade pops right off any skin tone for a Gaga-ready look.

Ouai Super Dry Shampoo, $24

A blend of rice starch and volcanic minerals helps this dry shampoo soak up excess oils fast without leaving a mess of white product behind. Hair is left feeling soft, clean, and oil-free.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Satin Kajal Liner, $26

Of course Posh Spice wouldn’t be caught dead without her signature eyeliner, so naturally, Victoria Beckham included this luscious liner in her new makeup collection. The bronze shade looks equally lovely on light or dark eyes, plus the formula is totally clean.

NYX Glow-On Lip Gloss, $8

These glow-in-the-dark lip glosses from NYX come in three vivid hues. A dark magenta, lavender, and deep violet. We can see ourselves rockin’ the Violent Violet” a deep purple hue, on a night out. Did we mention they also glow in the dark?

PCA Skin Daily Cleansing Oil, $38

This cleansing oil works so well to remove makeup (it even removed editorial fellow Naydeline’s hard-to-remove eyeliner!) without stripping the skin of moisture. This gentle cleanser also helps to nourish and hydrate the skin with grapeseed oil and sweet almond oil, a rich emollient that provides antioxidant benefits.

Pat McGrath Mothership VI: Midnight Sun Eye Palette, $125

Take it from us: This palette is worth every penny. No one formulates makeup quite like Pat McGrath (courtesy of years upon years of industry experience), which is why swiping on any of these 10 shades is positively drool-worthy.

Herbivore Prism 12% AHA + BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum, $54

This serum is packed with plant-based alpha hydroxy acids and beta hydroxy acids to rid the surface of your skin of dead cells, leaving you with smoother, brighter skin. It’s a higher concentration than the brand’s previous Glow Potion, so it gets to work faster, without leaving your skin raw or irritated.

Lano Minty Foot & Leg Balm, $19

People don’t typically tend to gravitate towards foot creams when shopping for body care, but after trying this foot cream, we’re sure you’ll change your mind. Our feet have never been so baby-soft and smooth. Lano’s Minty Foot & Leg Balm is also cruelty-free, vegetarian, and has no artificial colors or fragrances. It’s a win-win!

La Mer The Regenerating Serum, $365

Your skin’s supply of collagen and elastin is precious, which is why this serum is a must-have. It helps support skin’s metabolic energy to prevent harmful inflammation and preserves those natural ingredients to keep your skin healthy and bouncy.

Essie Fall 2019 Collection, $9

Essie’s Fall 2019 Collection meets all your fall nail needs. The colors range from the prettiest caramel nude to a buttery yellow, your summer neon yellow’s older sister. Our favorite color out of the whole collection has to be Rust Worthy, a metallic burnt orange perfect for the spooky season.

SkinBetter SunBetter Tone Smart SPF 68 Sunscreen Compact, $55

The struggle to find a sunscreen that is gentle, effective, and won’t break you out is too real. Luckily, this 100 percent mineral SPF checks all of those must-have boxes. It blends into the skin perfectly, and rather than giving you foundation-like coverage, it gives a subtle blurring effect and prevents that telltale white cast. Don’t think that because summer is over you can skimp on sun protection!

W3LL People Expressionist Volumizing Mascara, $23

A vegan mascara that actually holds a curl and doesn’t melt down your face by lunchtime is extremely hard to create. Luckily, this new formula from W3LL People delivers, keeping our lashes fluffy and voluminous all day long.

Omorovicza Silver Skin Tonic, $85

Using a tonic post-cleansing is one of the most effective ways to minimize breakouts. This formula uses a combo of colloidal silver (which has anti-fungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties), niacinamide, and salicylic acid to purify the skin and help prevent future acne.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Pro Pigment Palette VOL 2, $60

If you’re fearless with your eyeshadow—meaning you’ll rock a neon lid on a Wednesday without a second thought—then this 25-shade release is meant for you. With both shimmering and matte shades, you’ll have trouble deciding which pan to start with.
