Inside L.A.’s Coolest Boutique Hotel

Tucked away in West Hollywood, behind walls of fuchsia bougainvillea and a stained-glass archway, we find the ultimate reprieve from the frenzy of L.A. in Petit Ermitage. The 79-suite pied-à-terre has become a sort of home away from home for us. Maybe it’s the chocolate chip cookies that are always stocked at the front desk (be forewarned, you can’t have just one) or the garden-wrapped rooftop pool that’s so chill it feels like we’re hanging with our friends in a (very glam) backyard—with a clear view of the Hollywood Hills as a backdrop, of course.
