It’s as if we blinked and our Instagram feeds were suddenly taken over by models and celebrities donning colored t-shirts, bathing suits, and hats all bearing the same block-lettered logo: Livincool. But let’s be real, we all know success doesn’t happen overnight (let alone in the blink of an eye). The merch is an extension of Emanuele D’Angelo’s photography and lifestyle brand, Livincool. D’Angelo, born and raised in Rome, sought out a career in photography years ago in 2008, when he upped and moved to London with a plan to attend as many fashion shows and parties as possible, snapping pics of street style and mingling with big names.

And, well, it worked. Fast-forward a decade, and the photographer now calls Emily Ratajkowski his muse, shoots Bella Hadid on the regular, and just came back from touring Asia with The Weeknd. One peek at his Instagram, and you’ll see the likes of Cardi B, Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Kourtney Kardashian, and Elsa Hosk. Yet the typically Prada- and Kapital-clad (when he isn’t wearing one of his own designs) D’Angelo is as modest as they come. And while he’s on a plane more times than not, we somehow managed to track him down and get into his closet while we were both out in L.A.

Click through the below gallery for a few of D’Angelo’s go-to pieces, to hear what it was like touring with The Weeknd, and what’s up for 2019. Plus, shop pieces inspired by his closet here.
