If we didnt already know otherwise (all of the late nights, early mornings, heavy lifting and likelihood of frequent steamer burns), Sophie Lopez would be enough to convince us that being a stylist is just about the most glamorous job in the world.

Working with the likes of Kate Hudson (also her BFF) and Jourdan Dunn, Lopez can usually be found in the front row, on the set of a photo shoot, posted up at a hotel for some press tour or film festival… You get the idea. It’s all in a day’s work, and precisely what led us to the point above. But we do know better—pinning very famous, very fancy people into expensive things without stabbing them, having spent the last 12 hours on your feet with a dozen people watching, is no joke—and Lopez does, too. It’s exactly why the GQ UK alum’s the first to point to the (sometimes literal) blood, sweat, and tears she’s put into the job (it’s not all premieres and sequins, kay?).

There is one thing that is straight-up undeniably glamorous about Lopez, though—and that’s her closet. (Did you see that one coming?) Greeting us at the door of her home in West Hollywood in the most amazing marbled short sweatsuit set (say that three times fast!) and Givenchy slides, it wasn’t long before we had her in an oversized technicolor faux fur by Shrimps, towering Gucci platform pumps, and massive sunglasses in her backyard in the name of our shoot. Duty calls!
