If Miami Beach Could Be Poured Into a Glass, This Would Be It
If you can’t be there, you might as well drink it.
This time of year is just as much about warm getaways and tropical cocktails as it is about curling up by the fire with a pair of cozy sweats on. Which is exactly why this weekend we’re focusing on perfecting our fruity-cocktail-making skills. It’s all starting with this Strawberry Shrub tequila (obviously) cocktail recipe that we snagged from the Miami Edition hotel. We highly suggest you do the same. Hot tip: Close your eyes as you sip on the cocktail to hear the ocean waves and feel a warm breeze on your face.
0.75 oz Del Maguey Vida Mezcal
0.75 oz 123 Chili Infused Tequila
1 oz Strawberry Basil Spray
0.5 oz Lime Juice
0.25 oz Formula Antica Sweet Vermouth
1 Bar Spoon Fresh Ginger Juice
1 Egg White
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
2. Add all of the ingredients and shake.
3. Strain into a coupe cocktail glass.
4. Top with your favorite flower and sweet vermouth.
