Last night when we joined

Housing Works

at their annual

Fashion For Action benefit

, we were greeted with champagne, surrounded by designer pieces marked 50 to 80 percent off retail, and among attendees just as enthusiastic about beautifully made clothing and accessories as we are. But none of that was the highlight of the night—the best part was helping to raise money for the ongoing effort to help end homelessness and AIDS. It’s a mission we believe in and care deeply about, so back when Housing Works rang us up to curate a shoppable closet for the event, our response was a resounding “We’ll see you there!”

We spent the past few weeks hitting up our favorite designers for donations, and they

really

delivered

current-season dresses and separates, pairs on pairs of shoes, and a dreamy selection of handbags delivered. Our closet was brimming with pieces and decor from the following brands and friends of Coveteur:

Adidas, Alice McCall, AMI, Arjé, Aurelie Bidermann, AYR, Cinq à Sept, Clergerie, Cult Gaia, Cushnie et Ochs, Frame, Galvan, Khaite, Kronaby Watches, Lite Brite Neon, Lori and Marci Hirshleifer, Plant Shed, Maggie Marilyn, Manolo Blahnik, Milly, Prabal Gurung, Rosie Assoulin, Sandy Liang, Self-Portrait, Silvia Tcherassi, Tanya Taylor, Tibi.

Last night marked the 15th anniversary of the event, and we’ve never been happier to empty our wallets. If you’re in NYC, the sale is open through Saturday. Click through for a glimpse of last night:
