Whether you call New York home for real, or just a weekend, it’s undeniably a city that makes it impossible not to take everything in with fresh eyes—like you’re seeing things for the very first time. It doesn’t hurt that every neighborhood has what feels like its own distinct personality and vibe—something that you’re compelled to channel as you explore every previously undiscovered nook and cranny. In an ode to a few of our favorite stomping grounds, we’ve put together a series of city guides that celebrate them—as seen through the Tiffany & Co. lens.

Wear

Remember how when you’d get ready as a teenager, someone would inevitably remind you that you weren’t getting ready for a fashion show? Here, you kind of are. A graphic tee and patent skirt will score you all kinds of cool points while still feeling like a second skin. Go chunky with your accessories—an interesting bag, dad sneakers, a toughened-up gold chain peeking from beneath your tee. Finally, add a pair of blacked-out aviators, like this gold-detailed pair by Tiffany & Co. We’re obsessed with the clean, bold shape, feminine framing, and signature Tiffany T embellishment.

Eat + Drink

Start your day with plenty of strong espressos and flaky French things over at La Mercerie (53 Howard St.), a gorgeous sun-drenched café that kicks off an entire block of streetwear boutiques. For lunch, try Lalito (104 Bayard St.) (technically in Tribeca, but still), a Mexican-by-way-of-California eatery with plenty of vegan options and on-point design and decor. In the evening, head to 11 Howard (11 Howard St.) for dinner at Le Coucou or drinks at The Blond.

Shop

As you may have figured by now, there’s no shortage of places to shop around these parts. If you’re sneaker-inclined, top spots include Stadium Goods (47 Howard St.), the NikeLab store (21 Mercer St.), and Koio, an emerging brand with the most incredible hand-crafted Italian leather kicks (199 Lafayette St.). Other must-visits include neighborhood staples like VFiles (12 Mercer St.), Opening Ceremony (35 Howard St.), and Bape (91 Greene St.).

Do

If people-watching loses its charms (impossible), there’s no shortage of beauty-and-wellness-adjacent things to occupy your time here. Flow to Drake at Y7 Soho (430 Broome St.), strengthen, lengthen, and tone at SLT Soho (132 Crosby St.), or find your om amongst the white-washed walls, floor-to-ceiling windows, and lifesized stuffed giraffe at Sky Ting Yoga’s Chinatown studio (55 Chrystie St.). Then it’s time for pampering—get a graphic manicure at Paintbox (17 Crosby St.), or swing by Higher Dose at 11 Howard (11 Howard St.) for an individual sauna sesh.
