We Taught Gwyneth Paltrow All the Good Canadian Slang

gwyneth paltrow learn canadian terms
Sayer Danforth

We’re proud of our Canadian roots, and with our headquarters in New York, it’s often that we’re reminded of them. Aside from the all-too-popular opinion that we apologize “too” often (the rumors are true—we *do* apologize if someone bumps into us) or calling out how we pronounce “about,” you may be surprised to know that there are Canadian terms that don’t even exist in the American dictionary (and no, “the 6” is not included, but love you, Drake). Not everything makes it south of the border, and so we figured it was only right that we spread the word (quite literally) ourselves. And what better way to spread the gospel than by starting with Gwyneth Paltrow? It seemed only right with Goop’s recent launch in Canada. Naturally, we started easy with “eh” before picking up the pace—turns out, she’s a natural Canadian. Who knew, eh?
